  1. Yamaha BBP34 Vintage White. Completely mint, no marks or damage, cellophane still on pick guard. Complete with original case, certificate etc. It's the exact bass shown here with better photos than I could ever take: https://www.peachguitars.com/yamaha-bb-series-bbp34-vintage-white.htm 9lbs, 10oz. It's much more of a yellow than other vintage white Yamaha's I've had (I'm colour blind so take that as you will). It's a lovely, lovely bass with one of the nicest neck profiles I think I've played but I've had GAS relapse and need to avoid divorce. I will take some pics over the next few days. 2. Mine arrived today after some faff with UPS. Fit and finish is very good, including frets. It's going straight back though as it's 10lbs which is a shame.
  3. I bought this used from Bass Direct earlier in the year. I absolutely love the looks and weight but the neck is just a little too unwieldy for me. Condition wise it’s excellent. There’s one small ding on the back of the body and a few very minor, small marks which are pretty much impossible to photograph. Very little, if any fretwear. Hasn’t left the house since I’ve had it. Between 8.6 and 8.8 lbs on my electronic bathroom scales (only does .2 of lb increments). No trades, don't tempt me! Can ship at buyers cost/risk or collection/inspection welcome in Orpington BR6. I'll dig out the full specs but photos for now:
  4. Valenti V21-J4 #146 Got this about a year ago in a trade with @dub_junkie. Will probably regret this but I've ran out of places to hide basses so some have to go! Swamp Ash Body Trans White Finish Graphite Reinforced Maple Neck Maple fretboard Pearl Block inlays w/White Binding 1-1/2" Nut Width Aguilar AG 4J-70 Pickups Tort pickguard HipShot Vintage Bridge, 19mm HipShot HB-1 Tuning Gears Sadowsky preamp with VTC control Very comfortable weight - will weigh in morning and update ad. https://www.valentibasses.com/archive2.html A couple of very, very minor marks but generally excellent condition. Neck and fingerboard have had gloss taken off with some wire wool so are satin. Could probably benefit from some new strings. Battery box has some cosmetic damage. Complete with Fender hard case. No trades, don't tempt me! Can ship at buyer's cost/risk or collection/inspection welcome from Orpington BR6.
  5. MXR M82 envelope filter. The older purple and sparkly one. Has some minor scratches on top and bottom I’ve tried to capture in last two photos, the sparkles hide it well. Complete with box and related candy. £90 posted mainland UK.
  6. Just picked up this very bass. Slightly over what I’d normally go for weight wise but it’s bloody marvellous.
  7. I owned this briefly; couldn’t quite get on with the filter pre but should have hung on to it. Exceptional quality and an absolute bargain at this price.
  8. Now available in shell pink … https://www.fender.com/en-GB/squier-electric-basses/other/limited-edition-paranormal-rascal-bass-hh/0377107556.html
  9. For full transparency I sold this back in May (advert below) but refunded the buyer after it was taken to a luthier for a setup and frets were identified as having sprouted from the neck. I took it back with the plan of using for parts or grabbing another neck but I have no time and need the space. Mods let me know if this needs to be in another section. Complete bass but frets will need looking at by someone with the appropriate skills. I will try and link a video showing the issues. Comes with strings but they are currently off the bass (how it came back to me). Wilkinson hardware, lovely finish on body, 9.4lbs. Collection from Orpington please, no gig bag etc. https://vintageguitarsrus.com/collections/vj74-75-reissued-bass/products/vintage-vj74-reissued-bass-guitar-candy-apple-red Priced at £80 as it is which I believe is very reasonable, if no interest I will part out. Will try getting some more photos up over the weekend. Original advert here:
  10. Lusithand Alma Comp MkI. Bought new March this year, selling as have bought the MkII. Completely mint, home use only, includes original box. Will get some pics up tomorrow. £130 including postage to mainland UK. Collection Orpington BR6 welcome. https://www.compressorpedalreviews.com/amp/lusithand-alma-comp-review
  11. Apologies, should have updated the thread, I used the case of doom to post a bass to @funkle so I no longer have it.
  12. Something Harley Benton from Thomann if you want new. Or for £259 one of these (appreciate out of intended budget):
  13. Sold a bass to Pete in a smooth and pain free transaction. Prompt payment and comms. Enjoy, top banana!
  14. 2016 Squier Vintage Modified 77 Jazz Bass - £280 Excellent condition. A couple of very minor marks but no dings or missing finish. No marks to back of neck. Some very fine scratch/swirl marks to lacquer which I can’t photograph. Weight 9.6lbs (my electronic bathroom scales were flipping between 9.4 and 9.6) No trades please, need space. Inspection/collection welcome in Orpington BR6 or can post in a very substantial case at buyer’s cost and risk. Can get it to my parents’ place in Meppershall, Beds if that’s any easier.
  15. Now sold on the bay of fleas. Thanks to @TheGreek for all his sales pitches!
  16. Still have this monster if anyone is in need ….
  17. Hi, away at the moment but will measure when back and let you know.
  18. Lovely. Sorry to be “that guy” but any idea of the weight? 😁
  19. £475 and I’ll throw in the acoustic stand in the photos (just a cheapy but works fine).
  20. Yup. Let me know if you want any more details. Thanks Mick. Yup, can’t go wrong with Yamaha. Don’t tell the Sadowsky but I’m a tart and want a trans black one! I concur, cheers! ❤️
  21. Yamaha TRB1005J natural. Excellent used condition. Some minor marks, most noticeably on the back of the body and some fret wear mainly on the lower frets but plays well with no buzz. Some minor tarnishing of hardware, mainly on the bridge and neck screws/collars on back of body. The input jack is slightly loose, I believe this is a common failure on these barrel jacks over time. I've purchased a replacement Neutrik jack but haven't had a chance to fit yet - it will be included with the sale. Took this in as a trade and I rather like it ... but then I picked up something Sadowsky and Japanese and I only have room for one active fiver. I've weighed this as 9.6lbs which I believe is quite reasonable for these. I have a Thomann gig bag which can be included or can ship with a very sturdy flight case on the condition it's made available for the BassChat community for anyone that should need it for shipping. Shipping to UK Only. Collection or meet-up within a reasonable distance of Orpington BR6 also an option.
