Hi I bought a bass of chris a year or so ago and never managed to organise collection - its paid for and I want to get in touch to arrange a refund or collection but the last I heard from him was a few months ago to say he might be moving again I have no doubt he will get in touch eventually and the delay is mostly my fault so there is no beef here - just want to get a message to him to remind him about the shergold many thanks in anticipation Darren

A Piece Of History, Vintage Fender Jazz Bass 1966!!!
darrenW replied to fleamail's topic in Basses For Sale
"What do you think of the price?" A 66 sold on ebay (ex beautiful south) recently with flight case and (I presume) some definite record of heritage for £2800 - our local shop had a 69 in stock for sale at a price of around £2300 both in nice nick so on balance yours looks a little closer to a shop price than an internet sale - you may do better taking it to vintage and rare and paying their commission if you want to shift it quickly I have been looking for a 66 P for some time now but my price expectations are so unrealistic I am unlikely to ever actually buy one - still I live in hope that these daft prices will subside Good luck with the sale Rgds Darren OOPS just noticed it is a jazz - cheap then! -
Hi Darren Of course. I have to do a few trips over the next couple of weeks so it's possble I could deliver or at least we could meet up. Let me know where you are geographically and we'll arrange something. If not cash on delivery/collection, a cheque would be great. Cheers Chris
Hi Chris I am in stoke on trent but travel about a bit for work - in bristol/gloucester on the 10th Aug - was thinking paypal just so you knew I wouldn't mess you around but if COD is ok lets try and arrange a meet somewhere rgds Darren

Hi Chris I would like to buy the marathon please - can't collect yet but happily pay you the asking price now if you would hold it for me - perhaps buy a case and ship at some point or if I am down your way could collect - house is in a mess at the mo and another bass would get damaged or just be in the way Would paypal be ok for the £175 if the above caveat is ok with you? rgds Darren
