  10. Here we have my Yamaha TRB 5. This is a quality bass but due to upgrade I have no use for it. I have toyed with the idea of changing the pickups etc as the neck on this bass is so playable, but I have decided against it. 400GBP only and it's yours. Collection from Manchester preferred, delivery at buyer's cost. If you want to see some extensive photos of the bass please PM me your personal email and I'll get them to you as soon as. Thanks guys Alan
  11. I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned Peavey basses here... I got a Peavey Zephyr (now the Grind range) thru-neck 4 string for my first bass about 8 years ago, and I still have it now. It works fine and still sounds the business after extensive use and abuse, never had any problems with it and plays like a dream. That cost me about 240 but peavey also have a lot of cheaper basses such as the milestone 3 jazz copy, normally about 130quid. I would say to try before you buy but I know that as a beginner it's really hard as you don't know what you're looking for, but from experience I can recommend peavey.

  14. I have for sale my first proper bass rig, selling to make space as I've got some new gear now. It's a great first rig and it's a steal at only 200quid. It's the Behringer BX4500 450W head and a Behringer 2x10" 600W cab, with horn. I'll post some photos when I get back to uni. I also have the Behringer V Bass Pro effects unit that I'll chuck in for an extra 50 quid cheers guys!
