Hi all,
I got the same bass but PCB board/pot was failure (Seems oxidization) , so many noise now. I need to change my pre-amp, and the PCB board, any suggestion on it?
I had a pickup issue on another Musicman I used to own. I got a replacement pickup via the repair shop that sorted and installed it for me. Though I believe it is quite difficult to get spare parts out of Musicman, it is possible. Contact the Musicman distributor in your area first and ask their advice.

Wow, that is absolutely stunning, I can't imagine what would bring you to part with it!
I wish I didn’t need to. I’ve had to go private on some medical treatment for my daughter, that isn’t covered on the NHS. So need to raise some funds 😔

I've got a 4HH Reflex that's basically the same as this just painted a solid colour and it's a very very good-sounding bass.
These models were essentially a hybrid of elements of various EBMM basses put together to create a unique design with an equally unique tone. It's a Bongo preamp, and if I recall correctly the pickups are ceramic like the Sterling but wound on Stingray bobbins. That combination along with the pickup switching, active/passive control and mahogany tone block give these basses their own sound, and it's really powerful.
The rear pickup is in the Stingray position and can do a really good facsimile of that sound, by the way, as well as a lot more besides. Always a good option to have.😊
Thanks Misdee. Thanks for sharing this info. Worth mentioning that it’s an 18v preamp requiring 2 batteries. I’ve seen Reflex models with a single 9v.
I share your opinions on its sounds and pickup options. My favourite is coil 2&3 in “jazz bass” mode. Just lovely ☺️

Isn't this the Reflex model? I played one at the LBGS and was very impressed. Nolonger in production IIRC.
Expect this to fly...
Thanks. I don’t think this is quite the Reflex model but they do resemble each other. I think the switching is different between the two models. Not sure about the preamp. The preamp on this gets massive very quickly!
I’ve attached a PDF in the post showing all the pickup switching options.

For sale is my Musicman 25th Anniversary 4 string bass with dual humbuckers. It’s in excellent condition with just a few very minor wear marks in the usual playing areas. Ash body with mahogany tone block, quilted maple top in Venetian redburst, cream binding, maple neck with satin finish, rosewood fretboard, matching headstock. Frets are in excellent condition and have been finished flawlessly. The preamp and pickup switching options give this bass a huge palette of tones. Neck is a C shape with a 41mm compensated nut. Weight is 4.4kg and the bass comes in its original Musicman 25th Anniversary case, with cleaning cloth and warranty card.
Collection preferred from my home in South London, but can post at cost. Thanks for looking. Please ask if you have any questions.

Are these the standard ones or overwound mate?
There’s nothing to say they are overwound on the box so I’d say these are standard. I’ve tried to find my original order to confirm, but that’s long lost unfortunately. I would’ve bought these for vintage tone so again, probably standard.

Just put my order in - £250 at Bass Direct.
This going into my Cali76... I'm liking the idea of having my UA 6176 miniaturised on a pedalboard. Then going into my Black Panel 64 😁

If you find a box and can send it please let me know.
I haven’t got a box at the moment. But I’ll let you know if I do find one. PM your location, just in case a gig takes me to your location.

I'm selling this hi spec and rather unusual Sandberg 48. Soft core aged from the factory, in metallic orange with cream racing stripes, matching reversed headstock, rosewood fretboard with pearloid blocks.
The pickups are actually a P bass style neck, and MM style bridge pickup. The Sandberg preamp is very flexible, with passive mode activated by the pull pot volume knob. It comes with its special shaped gig bag, tools and hangtag.
This was originally spec'd and sold by Classical and Cool Guitars. Here is their link for this bass:
https://classicandcoolguitars.co.uk/portfolio/sandberg-48-reverse-headstockadd-description-copy-3/
The bass is as it was when first bought. I had it up for sale here a few years ago, but then withdrew it. No damage (other than the soft core ageing), and no issues. It's a lovely bass to play, frets levelled polished a couple of years ago, very comfortable and beautifully made. Weight is 4.1kg. Well balanced on your lap. No noticeable neck dive if you use a good strap. Collection from my home in Crystal Palace, South London preferred, but can post.
Thanks for looking!

Don’t suppose you ever get down to Bristol?
Not in the next few months. However, my brother in law is coming up to visit on the 28th. He's from Limpley Stoke just outside Bath. I might be able to send it back with him if he has room in his car. Would you be able to collect it from him?

Regrettably moving on my trusty Bergantino HS210 cab. In good condition, 400 watts, 8 ohms, with Bergantino padded cover.
This cab has been with me everywhere in the last 12 years. It has done loads of gigs but has always been looked after and never driven hard. It has thousands more gigs left in it! If it sells I will miss it. If it doesn’t sell I wouldn’t mind keeping it at all, just for the days when I need to feel the heft.

A Source Audio Soundblox 2 Manta Bass Filter in good condition with original box. Loads of filter settings, very tweakable and can store a couple of settings. There is a power supply but it’s a Euro version. Never an issue for me as I’ve always used this with a pedalboard power supply. Thanks for looking 👀
Musicman 25th Anniversary HH 4 string bass

It’s currently at The Bass Gallery in Camden, who are selling it on commission for me. They measure the nut width at 41mm and bridge spacing at 19mm. The neck is slimmer than a regular Stingray. Not quite Jazz bass, but heading that way. It’s a comfortable neck to play.
Here’s the link for the bass at The Gallery:
