1. I've decided to sell my Focusrite Platinum Octopre LE. It's basically an 8 channel mic preamp/instrument DI. Great for recording multiple mic/instrument sources and this example has the optional ADAT digital out board fitted. The Platinum mic preamps themselves are good quality for the price range. Very much in keeping with the rest of the Platinum range and you'd have to pay considerably more for an improvement on what this offers IMO.

You can plug in 8 mic sources or 8 instrument sources (or a combination of both) and it outputs via its digital ADAT and 8 analogue line outs simultaneously.

I bought this to record a live gig with all the mics going into this - the ADAT going into my audio interface/laptop, and the analogue outs feeding the front of house desk. It worked a treat, but hasn't had a lot of use since. It is in as new condition and comes with power supply, original box and manuals.

    Price is [s]£170 posted.[/s] SOLD

  2. A couple of pedals for sale:

A TC Electronic Nova Repeater - as new condition, boxed with manual - [s]£110 posted[/s]. SOLD

A G-Lab Bass Wowee Wah pedal - as new condition, Boxed with manual - [s]£115 posted[/s]. SOLD

Both pedals were bought out of curiosity and a bit of an experiment. Both played with for a couple of hours, then re-boxed and left unused on my shelf. So un-gigged and never used in anger.

Product info for the Nova Repeater can be found at: http://www.tcelectro...-nova-repeater/

  3. Gary bought my white Steinberger XL2 - and what a buyer.

He didn't try to haggle on price. He felt the bass was worth it and paid the asking price without hesitation. The sale was done over the phone with a great amount of trust. Despite sudden snowfall followed by gross courier incompetence Gary was patient - well as patient as you can be when you've got an XL2 coming your way and it's held up! :D . I refunded him during this time and he paid again immediately on receipt.

The courier shenanigans was stressful for both of us (Parcel2go and TNT) but it was a pleasure to deal with Gary and to chat with him on numerous occasions. Enjoy the iceBerger, best of luck at The Institute, and until next time on BC!
