Plenty of options on ebay. I just bought one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-4-5-WAY-EFFECT-PEDAL-9V-DAISY-CHAIN-POWER-SUPPLY-CABLE-SPLITTER-TC-ELECTRONICS/161013483855?_trksid=p2046732.m2060&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D16548%26meid%3D1396707060803823451%26pid%3D100040%26prg%3D7839%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D161013483855%26
Owen Electronics in Manchester - Martin fixed my knackered Deluxe Memory Boy and did a very thorough job of testing and fault finding, picking up a few things that were potential future problems too.
Just out of interest what was wrong with the deluxe memory boy ? Curious as they are relatively new pedals and ive just picked up a used one.
You'll be surprised how much space is left inside the XO models! There is about a 20mm gap from the circuit board to the base plate.
I guess I need to buy one then !! I did this mod years ago to a big box version which was nice to work inside.
Hey there, did you have any luck modding the XO model? Or does anyone on this forum know anyone in the UK who can do it? Cheers.
I know how you'd do it, but I don't yet have an XO miscro synth yet !! I'd also be suprised if there was space inside to actually fit another jack socket, or maybe use a 3.5mm internally and an adaptor on the expression pedal cable. When I get an XO microsynth at some point It's definately going onto the mod bench.

I'm selling off my Boss RV-5, about 18 months old. In good condition with a couple of minor marks. Great sounding pedal but I just prefer my sound with delay only. £75 shipped within the UK. I borrowed one off my mate for a gig a few weeks back, ran it through my Woolly Mammoth Clone, an EQ pedal to tigthen it up, and thought it was a superb sounding bass forteh price. Plays really well to and I like teh distinctive colours off them, thinking about investing in one myself as a spare / alternative bass.

Power supply noise, ground loop ? Are you by chance powering it from a daisy chain with other pedal not in the FX loop (i.e. FX chain beofre the pre amp) ?

What's their contact details / address ? I've got a wonky DL-4 delay I need to get sorted out at some point.

It's not UK, but I know Thomann sell them.

It will work on bass but I don't think it will sound that good, unless you fancy changing numerous caps to give the lower frequencies so usage. I've used both (bass and guitar versions) on guitar and found they work great for guitar, but when using a POG into microsynth it just didn't cut it on the lower octave (equivalent to a bass)

Only have experience of the Echo Park (very nice delay) and it's four button equivalent (superb apart from the reliability issues), the Verbzilla which is a highly tweakable reverb and does some great sounds). I've playe soem of the Spider amps in stores when demoing pedals and the are a bit meh, just not very inspiring.

Would it be possible to make a pedal that switches the signal chain
How much would that cost me? Ideally I'd like to make it myself, but I don't have the circuit diagram
Could do it for say £30, just to get the parts used up I have spare on my workbench. EDIT - just seen that you're building one, but if you don't go through with it I can do you one in a few days. -

Be straight with him, tell him in a proffesional manner, tell him he doesn't fit into the band, his drumming doesn't work with what you are doing. What exactly is it that he is doing wrong ?
Well, if everyone's joining in......my xp-100 might need a tricky switch replacing or the firmware flashing or something, could I jump on the PM bandwagon?
If anyone's interested, I've done a few pedal rapairs and a reasonable number DIY builds over the years (kits, schematics and my own designs), would be willing to look at any potential repairs if you're interested ? I'm an electronics designer for a living so have access to a full range of meters, scopes, components etc.
