Compact stand for offset bodied bass
mikegatward replied to Roland Rock's topic in Accessories and Misc
The Hercules i-stand is a nice bit of kit but is regretably totally unsuited to an offset body. I'm also in need of a compact stand for the shuker jazz -
Having downsized to a smaller rig, my band's mixer is surplus to requirements. It's a Soundcraft 16 into 2 into 1 mixer with external phantom power supply The desk is fully functioning (last used for a gig in March) and is complete with a flight case. The flight case lid is slightly misalligned for some reason but with a bit of effort, the catches will line up and close. The power supply unit is also in a small case. We're asking [s]£150 [/s]£120, collected from West Yorkshire. I might be able to meet up in the north west if you're not in a hurry. I can get it delivered but it'll be about £25 or so

Dave bought my Westone Thunder 1A. Good guy to deal with, no messing about, nice straight forward transaction. Hope you enjoy the bass

Gary bought my Bongo and was a pleasure to deal with throughout. I thought my sense of humour was wicked but I'm an amateur compared to Gary ! Enjoy the bass and keep in touch

I'm putting my 2 Westone Thunder 1A's up for sale - may decidev to keep one if 1 sells but we'll see. I need to reduce the bass count before I can buy something i've seen and like. First up is the black Thunder 1A. Plays really welll, frets in good condition. There's some marks and knocks around the bottom edge but nowt serious. The black finish does show surface scratching typical of a finish of this age. It's particularly noticeable on the back but doesn't affect how it plays. These basses have a wide range of tones and everyhing on this is behaving like it should Second up is a natural Thunder 1A. It's been fitetd with a thumb rest by the lastb owner. Again plays really well. There's some marks to the body including a gash at the edge of hte bottom horn recess but again nothing major. There's also a ding in the middle of the neck but again, nothing to affect how it plays. One of the tuners is bent but functions fine. All electrics work as they should. I'm asking £150 for the black one and £120 for the natural one. Offers considered. I'm based in West Yorkshire and can meet up within an hour or so distance. Postage can be arranged if necessary and I've a spare gigbag and a spare hardcase that could be suppiled with a sale. Anyone wanting to try out is welcome. I've only recently had this put together but I've seen something on here that I want to buy so something has to go. It's a CIJ 75 reissue body in a natural finish with Badass II bridge and tort pickguard. Stock pickups and controls. The body is in very good condition but there are 2 chips in the laquer on the top and bottom of the neck pocket but these are only visible close up. The neck is a VMJ Squier maple neck with black block & bindings with stock tuners. The decal has been replaced with a suitable aged Fender Jazz replica to a good standard The bass was put together and set up for me (including fret dress) by Fraser Callum in Leeds. He had problems finding a spare bolt for the microtilt so has used a non-standard bolt and retained the 3 hole neckplate rather than taking the easy option of changing to a 4 hole plate. The microtilt is therefore disabled but the neck is very firmly in place. I'll supply a slightly shabby but functional semi-rigid Guvnor case £350 ono Happy to discuss delivery options. I'm based in Yorkshire but travel over to the North West regularly Here's morepics: http://s1126.photobu...kegatward/75RI/
