  5. Was the 2 hours the exception or the norm ? If the former, then let it go. We all have bad techie days with gear from time to time. He should be sorting all this stuff out at home though. We had a guitarist who was guilty of this and said he couldn't play at any volume at home. The age of headphones seemed to have passed him by. If it's the latter then he should be setting up in his own time and paying for it as well assuming you're hiring a studio on an hourly rate.
  6. La Bella Hard Rockin' Steels 45-105, especially when they've worn in a little
  7. Not a great night at the duck & drake in leeds on wednesday. Despite having been booked in over a month before, when we turned up, no one was expecting us. Bar manager knew nothing about PA and said there was no-one around that did. Eventually got it working and just had time to soundcheck. Then just before we're due on, bar manager says we have to turn everything down cos the pub manager upstairs says we're over the decibel limit !. Played first set but struggled with sound levels and not hearing each other. Second set we thought f*** 'em and turned a few things back up and that went much better. A passer by heard it, came in the pub to listen and offered us all a pint at the end. The kindness of strangers. Not impressed with the venue, they didn't promote the event, the manager clearly was around but didn't bother dragging his sorry arse down to see us. And to moan about the volume levels after the soundcheck rahter than during it, pathetic. Oh yeah, and the beer was warm. Bar manager even argued about that as well. Have expressed our disappointment to the venue but not hear owt back after 2 days.

  12. Prices for Marcus Millers seem to fluctuate greatly. six months or so back on here, there were Millers as low as £550. I remember as at the time I was torn between a MM and the Suker satinline prototype. Went for the Shuker as I figured I could get a MM just about anytime whereas the Shuker was a one off. Right choice, especially since adding the east retro
  13. Sold on eBay
  14. Pete bought a jazz neck from me. Great guy to deal with.
  15. Had the same dilemna myself and decided to go for the t-rex which i hope will be the quietest and most reliable option. I'd rather spend a little more on the pwer supply rather than one extra pedal that i may call upon once in a blue moon
  16. maybe the product is getting better all the time
