Decided to put my Super Twin up for sale. It’s a great cab as we all know but I’ve a Super Compact that suffices for the types of venue we play. Think this is quite an early model but it’s in top condition, I bought if from Karlfer on here a few years back and it’s had little use in that time. It’s the cloth grill version so weighs in at a crazy 17kg. It comes with the roqsolid barefaced cover with reinforced front panel to protect the silver cloth. i’m based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire so it’s going to be collection or meet up. Not looking for any trades as I’m well stocked with gear. Asking £800 which seems fair against the £1379 new price (without cover)

Having just bought my dream amp, I'm putting this up for sale as its too good just to have hanging around as a spare. I bought it towards the end of lockdown and gigged about once a month with it since we allowed back out to play. It's in great condition and has no issues whatsoever. Anyone who knows me will tell you I look after my gear. I'm asking £525 for it and sorry but no trades on this one. I'm located in Wakefield, West Yorkshire and would prefer collection or meet up within 1.5 hours. If postage is a must then assuming i can lay my hands on a suitable box, I can post to mainland UK for £26 insured Here's the manufacturers full spec... PREAMP: The preamp utilises three 12AX7 (ECC83) tubes. Unlike the starved-plate designs of most common hybrid heads, it's pure tube with no silicon diodes, getting you even closer to the sound of a full-tube head. POWER SECTION: We use a classic A/B power supply based on an efficient toroidal transformer and large capacity electrolytic capacitors, delivering a powerful 400W into a 4ohm load. An optical limiter ensures you're always running within safe limits, and the R-400's on-board fan is thermally managed and controlled to ensure the amp runs smoothly at high volumes. CASE: * STANDARD: Ply housing, covered with black lacquer or veneered Tolex and metal corners and includes a front plate to protect the front panel, secured using two flightcase latches. The back of the R-400 is open enough to allow easy access to the rear panel features, without compromising protection. DIMENSIONS: * WxHxD: 375mm x 108mm x 315mm * Weight: 10.5kg FRONT PANEL FEATURES: * ÂĽ" input jack * MUTE switch * BRIGHT / DARK switch: Engaged: +3dB @ 100Hz, -3dB @ 750Hz, +2dB @ 10 kHz * DRIVE switch: (The DRIVE switch raises the level of the signal at the input stage by about 6dB – great for heavier genres, or for instruments with lower output). * INPUT GAIN: Using the INPUT GAIN, you can access a wide range of tones - from crystal clear to a fat, saturated harmonic crunch.
 * BASS / TREBLE * CONTOUR: Introduces 0 to -12dB @ 1kHz * OUTPUT VOLUME * 3-state LED indicator: PROTECT / READY / LIMIT. * LINE OUT DI: a professional-quality DI, with PRE / POST gain and GROUND LIFT switches. REAR PANEL FEATURES: * POWER SWITCH * FUSE ACCESS * 2 x SPEAKON speaker connectors * EFFECTS SEND & RETURN

Norm came over to my gig and bought a JV from me. Top guy.

Bernard kindly drove out of his way to meet partway for me to buy his lovely Demeter amp. Thanks fella👍

I just squeeze above and below using both hands and they pop out easy

I’m lucky in that I have what the optician said was an excellent technique for getting lenses out by squeezing the eyelid. Just a shame I don’t have excellent technique on a bass guitar 😂

Last of the herd thinning listings and it's a belter The body is black walnut built by Paul Walsh @Bassmonkey, finished in Nitro Shoreline Gold by the magnificent Dave Wilson with: Fender Custom Shop ‘62 pups Badass II Bridge Kiogon loom with CTS Pots Fender tort plate Fender Precision Knobs The neck is an Allparts Jazz maple neck with white/pearl blocks and bindings. Tuners are Hipshot Ultralights. It was all put together and set up by Paul with a new set of Markbass roundwounds and she weighs in at a respectable 9lb 4oz It's in mint, unmarked condition and will come in a tatty but functional hard case. The dark area on the side of the neck between 9th & 12th frets is the wood grain, not any blemish Would rather do collection or happy to drop off or do a halfway meet within 1.5 hours or so of Wakefield, West Yorkshire. I've reduced this from £900 to £800 for a straight sale Only trade I’m interested in is a Helix Floor That seems fair for the quality and condition. Not looking for trades at this point.

Next in line on the thinning down is this Roadworn Jazz bitsa Body is a MIJ 62 reissue which has been refinished in cream over white. It's a nice enough roadworn effect with plenty of scop to add some more wear 🙂. Pickups are from a Geddy Lee MIJ. The cavity is well insulated with copper tape and there are brass shielding strips under the pickups. The brass strip to the bridge is purely cosmetic. Wiring loom and CTS pots came from KiOgon. Bridge is a Fender BBOT. The neck is an Allparts jazz neck I bought from a guy in the US who does the roadworn effect. It's really nicely done. Tuners came with the neck and I think are Gotoh but can't be 100% sure. The fender decal I added isn't the best of jobs in terms of the laquer over the top. She weighs in at 9lb 2oz on the digi scales It plays really well. The action is nicely low but my jazz bass needs are well catered for with others. Would rather do collection on this as I've no case for it, but happy to drop off or do a halfway meet within 1.5 hours or so of Wakefield, West Yorkshire. I've priced at £400 after looking at recent bitsa prices with similar quality parts Not looking for trades at this point. I would consider splitting the neck and the body for £200 apiece if there is interest.

1983 Squier JV PB-57 Precision for sale due to me deciding this is the time to thin the herd down. I believe it's all original, except for the black scratchplate that's currently on it but i will also supply the original single ply white one. You can see the raised A string pole pieces in the pics. This one weighs in a mere 8lb 2oz on the digital bathroom scales. In great condition for a nearly 40 year old bass, a couple of tiny body blemishes, the neck is completely unblemished with frets in excellent nick. Truss rod works fine both ways. Pots are still smooth. No tarnishing on the chrome. Moreover, it plays like a dream - a proper old school precision with a neck that is super playable. It will come with a Fender hardcase as shown in pics. Would rather do collection on this, but happy to drop off do a halfway meet within 1.5 hours or so of Wakefield, West Yorkshire. I've priced it based on recent sales but I'm open to sensible offers. Not looking for trades at this point.

Not masses. Just enough for the mains lead and a line cable. I’ve since upgraded to a much stronger military surplus case.
