4. Have seen the website for Output Studios in Wakefield - http://www.outputstudios.co.uk/ The phone number is dead and the email bounces back. Does anyone know if this place exists ?. Maybe it's about to open. We're vacating our cold and twice broken into room in Leeds and this would fit the bill nicely

6. Come on - someone buy this cab so I can buy the barefaced compact I want Or someone sell me an identical cab, I might then consider selling my barefaced midget !
7. Sorry to divert from the thread but if you ever decide to move one of your 121 cabs on, can you let me know. Stunning looking bass btw, am loving my Shuker Satinline. The guy knows how to make a bass

10. Karl bought my purple chili guitar cab. Nice fella, no messing about, job done.
11. I went to see them at Erics a few months later. Excellent night. Support band called Madness weren't bad either
12. Me to drummer: Does that bass line i'm playing sound OK ? Drummer to me: To be honest, I never really listen to what you're playing For many weeks I did contemplate leaving this lot. Then I realised no-one really listens to what i'm playing. So I started turning up the volume
13. Top of the list for things you need to be in a band is: Number 1 - a supportive partner End of. You can always borrow gear :-)
14.
What colour is the bass and what neck is it? I may be interested in the body and neck as is. Thanks
It's black body and a rosewood neck. Let me know if u want pics. Just checked and I 've got all orig parts except pick ups Body was routed out a little more to take the pre-amp
15. Yes, still available - here's the pics (finally) http://s1126.photobucket.com/albums/l614/mikegatward/Sandberg/
16. A feedback score of 1 doesn't exactly inspire confidence either
17. My first 'proper' bass was a slightly beaten up MIM Jazz I've upgraded it to the point where the upgrade parts are a little wasted on the bass so I've decided to build my own jazz with a nice ash body I've acquired and a maple Mighty Mite neck. I've some never used old Schaller tuners to put on the neck. I'll transfer the J-East pre-amp, Wizards and Badass over from the MIM. Apart from the original pickups, I've kept all the original parts so my question is: Should I get some MIM or similar pickups, refit / re-wire the original parts and sell the MIM as a complete bass Or would I be better selling the parts seperately ? Mike
18. I drive over to Manchester regularly so that might just work ! - am over tomorrow for footie / Wilko gig and am staying over till sunday !
