  1. Bass solo is noodling if it's just a 5 minute slap or 1 chord trilling, listen to to Gary Willis or Jaco bass solos and stay clear.
  2. 12-13 at once if half is working, it's imposible. You have to think in future when much more can arive. The others must work at home and change the others next time. That's the only way. No online sofware can help.
  3. Try to record in pro with, let's say focusrite audio interface, at that time take a video with Your mobile phone. Then choose some video/audio mixing program and mix Your audio with Your video. That's it. For me it works.
  4. I like Your opinion on RHCP. That's my favourite band to listen. There is only one band that can play like RHCP and it is RHCP.
  5. I also would not perfectly call Jaco the worlds greatest bass guitarist, but the magic of his grooves and tones deserves him to be the one of.............There are no greatest bassist in the world anyway. Finally i would say that Jaco gave to me a lot of things to think and learn and i really like to listen to him. Anyway - he will always be a great bass legend and he absolutely deserves it.
  6. I will answer my true guess. Somehow i can't say that i like Marcus Miller - great musician, composer, a true legeng in bass world, but the great minus is - too many slap in his songs. When i listen to his songs, i think - what a great music, but that 99% slap in it makes me somehow dislike it. Maybe that is connected that i am not a big slap fun, as i play fretless only.
  7. Nice, it looks like here everybody thinks trully from their expierence or true features they think they need. That's what i wanted to hear. Keep up giving Your gold advices !!!
  8. Go on, go on, don't be afraid !!!
  9. Looks like no one cares ?!?
  10. Hi. Interesting, what tuner brand would You choose to put on Your custom shop dream guitar? I would vote for Gotoh.
  11. You could call it - T-rex gigbag.
  12. My dad played a lot in late 70's, rock and roll, blues. I have only paper pictures, but don't know where exactly are they. His dream bass was Macartny violin bass, but he only got some brand copy. His best bass was Charvel with Jackson pickups, witch i used later to start learning the bass.
  13. When I was 20 and it was 20 years ago, i tried to learn all the best from just like You.
  14. I don't know about these guys. But a situation where plays 2 basses could be only if one plays only low groove and the other improvises high and then they switch, drums also could be and piano or rythm guitar. Let's say Jaco and Gary Willis. A song for 10 minutes.
  15. I am back. Last night i chaged my choice to Ibanez gwb1005. I played bouth gwb1005 and jazz bass for 3 hours in to my headphones, studio monitors and through my amp and decided that my Ibanez is better in tone, lighter, more frets and strings and a lot confortable to play, a lower string action. Everything was better for me and yes i will choose gwb1005. You were right - i had do it myself - decide. Thanks again for the advices.
  16. Actually, a lot of songs i play a very lead on bass and they realy like what i play, they just prey me what to choose. I think the jazz bass is more universal and i will use it, but that doesn't mean that my gwb1005 is down and i will never touch it. No way, i really like it and there will be a lot chances for it in my future. Thanks for Your advices.
  17. I think it's the right answer.
  18. I absolutely understand my rights, but these basses sound so different and they like bouth, but it just happened that they want to hear the one tone all the time and changing them in gig - scares them of hearing different things at the next song.
  19. What do You mean with "i need some". Do You need the specifications - Both are fretless. Fender is 4 string alder body, maple neck, pao ferro fingerboard, 2 vintage single coil pickups, passive. Ibanez is hand made by Sugi guitars Japan, swamp ash body, 3 piece maple nech, ebonol fingerboard, bartolini bridge GWB soapbar pickup, active electronics treble/bass, 5 string.
  20. Really, no advices here, i need some!!!
  21. Gig
  22. Hi, what would You choose if You had to play in the band that plays pop, rock, funk, disco, blues and latin. Fender Jaco artist jazz bass or Ibanez GWB1005 ? To me - i like the sound even, bouth have their great tone, but the band wants me to mainly play on one bass all the time. Help me.
  23. I think that on bolt ons the body wood gives a little effect on tone, but neckthroughs a much bigger. On frettless - the nech and fingerboard wood gives a very big effect.
  24. It means that Jaco Pastorius is still alive.
