Sooner or later I'll be spending 50 quid on 3 sets of the 35-95 Roto Bass, so I guess it's only logical to say.....
I'd happily swap these 5 sets of the 50-110 for 3 sets of the 35-95
Browsing through the YouTube tab videos I notice that some notes are frequently considered optional, and that the only one that has all the notes is tabbed way up the neck. Playing it down near the nut, with all the notes, is giving my pinkie plenty to think about.

From a post on TB by someone who was working for that shop back then:
A few notes about Jason's Jaco Pastorius Signature Bass and James Jamerson Tribute Bass:
- These are both Fender Custom Shop basses, commissioned exclusively by The Bass Centre (Studio City, CA)
- Less than 50 of each of these basses were produced (the number is likely closer to 35)
- They are the first "Signature" basses ever produced by Fender
Just learnt, sorry, just started to learn 'You Keep Me Hangin On' and oh my days, now I know what fiddly means. Kinda surprised that I've made any progress at all, I didn't know my fingers would take to being parked on the 1st and 4th frets at the same time 🤟 It's giving the lyrics a fresh layer of meaning for me, "you're just using me, hey abusing me" and all that 🥵
I used to buy these in bulk from my local indy music shop, but the bass I used to put them on no longer exists. So.
A parcel of these 5 sealed sets of 50-70-90-110 Rotosound Roto Bass nickel-plated rounds for £50
Its no coincidence that a db player chose, when pushed to acquire a bass guitar, the model that was specifically designed to appeal to db players wanting to acquire a bass guitar. Not being a gear nerd doesn't make anyone a hapless simpleton who buys whatever the standard choice is. A serious musician bought the instrument most suitable for them.
Number 22 was bought by Jason Newsted and is being sold atm, very reasonable at just under 10k

Rectangle ~ Jacno
(Jacno took his stage name from the artist who drew the design of his favourite cigarettes, his real name was Denis. The Blondie cover of Denis was inspired by Debbie Harry's ladyboner for him. Warhol was also rather keen on him)
My dreams aren't of anything remotely exotic, just of a P-bass with very precise attributes: ultralight tuners, 42-43mm nut, modern(ish) radius, maple fb, deep C profile, Dimarzio Model P pickup, black body, no pg, weighing about 7 lbs.
