This is sensible from Fender. No one, least of KR, is under any illusions as to his capabilities as a bassist. What's also clear is how much he loves being a bassist. Here we see him, thanks to his standing in the world, getting a beautiful Fender lovingly-made to his exact desires. I'm very surprised at the lack of Bonehead — unless he cba, of course — Liam's recently been quite vocal about his contribution You can hear the difference he made to Liam's band, they weren't getting the Oasis sound at all right until he played with them a bit.

I think Liam Gallagher did once play the Oasis venue. Isn't it now shut down?
