Sold metaltime my mule, very smooth transaction - quick payment, friendly PMs, top guy to deal with
-
ending in the next hour! great pedal for fuzz heads - mine cost about £150 new and that was hard enough to get hold of
-
had a look at the diago stuff - seems great, but the tourman seems a bit too big, while the showman is JUST a bit too small! Cant argue with the price though! They seem great quality too...
If you're getting a new pedal train make sure you get one of the very new ones with the Voodoo Labs mounts underneath.
I use a Burkey Flatliner for my pedal power, so those Voodoo Labs mounts would be a bit too small unfortunately
does it have to be a pedaltrain?
I'm looking for something around 800mm wide by 400mm deep x 100mm high - which the pedaltrain seems to have covered perfectly, but in reality any board around that size will do - and the cheaper the better.

Bit of a bump here, but im also after a pedaltrain (this time the PT-Pro) and the cheapest I can see in the uk is £190 with the softcase and £250 with the hard case :/ I know guitareffectspedals sells to the uk, but their postage cost is about £85 which when coupled with the £150 price and the threat of import duty kind of rules it out. If anyone has any alternative, or knows of any cheaper sites let me know Cheers Dave

According to wikipedia, "The pedal board that he uses, as seen on the live dvd Live and Murderous In Chicago, consists of a Boss DD-3 delay, Digitech Whammy IV, Voodoo Labs pedal power 2, Boss TU-2 tuner pedal, Prescription Electronics Depth Charge distortion pedal, and Crybaby 105Q bass wah." so Im guessing its a wah + delay combination, with perhaps the whammy set to one of the detune settings...

"This rather well used box of fuzziness is a Guild Foxey Lady....its like a Ram Head Big Muff on PCP! I've had a few Muffs over the years and this was my all time favorite. It is a little different to a Ram Head though it uses the same board and would be from around the same time frame, around the mid 1970's. It sounds a little more crunchy and aggressive than a Ram. It also has the most un-godly amount of saturation I have ever heard from a 70's Muff! Its really noisy but the insane amount of fuzz makes up for the fact tenfold." http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1970s-GUILD-FOXEY-LA...oQQcmdZViewItem £110 BIN Be quick! Good luck! ~Dave

Wren & Cuff Pickle pie fuzz SOLD PENDING USUAL
suprised that you chose to get the mid toggle, suppose it is only a fiver extra, but for me the whole character of the pedal is the mid scoop
I just thought I may as well get it just incase I want an extra bit of versatility out of it When the toggles off you get the original circuit, so nothing lost I suppose (except £5!) -
haha yes very much so, and sorry dude thought i'd just point it out i got mine for £90 inc postage and didn't get any customs. The pickle pie is one of the best fuzzs i've heard though such a deep roar!
Nice to hear that you got it without being hit by customs. I ordered one several days ago, with the mid toggle on it, and im just hoping it manages to sneak through without being nabbed by parc£lforc£ and me being forced to pay stupid import duty, vat, and that ridiculous handling charge on it. -
i was quoted £35 for a single loop passive blend pedal
IIRC passive blenders are not so good... I'd wait for the VFB-JR if I were you
or, for probably alot less than the other two mentioned, you could go the way of red onion solutions.... i know im recommending this place alot, i dont work for them but i just think they are great value, they get the simple and effective job done, and don't add boutique cost to their products
AFAICS they don't do a blend pedal..... only true bypass loops and a/b pedals...
Right, i want a pedal where i can blend a clean and effected signal. Is there some type of loop pedal that can do this, or a dedicated blend type pedal? Cheers. Alex.
Barge Concepts VFB-2 does exactly what you want. http://www.bargeconcepts.com/vfb1.html theres a smaller version coming out soon too.

Just spotted a bass whammy on the bay, £265 total. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/digitech-bass-whammy...1QQcmdZViewItem Seller looks a bit dodgy though.... Theres a second one here, from Japan though. And a fair bit steeper in price at almost £400 total. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vintage-DigiTech-BAS...7QQcmdZViewItem The seller of this one is the same as I got my Whammy WH-1 from. He posted it very quickly, but I cant say what condition its in or even whether it works or not, because its only just been released with customs charges... Like I said, if you're willing to risk it... Dave

Same applies to Silent Fly. Very quick payment, nice friendly comms, overall a great transaction!
