  1. I'm driving Kent-Essex-Suffolk-Norfolk-North London tomorrow in case anyone fancies a last minute punt followed by fast and in-person delivery 👍

  3. Bloody useful pre-amp for the gigging bassist, for context re price/value I didn't sell mine until I bought a Grace Fenix at close to £1500 more than Lawrie's asking for this unit 👍
  4. Nice strings and a very good price, think they're discontinued also (seem to remember a few threads on TB by players trying to find equivalent sets) 👍
  5. In less politically correct days that was referred to as Real Man Action 🙂
  6. Ha ha, yes we are following a similar path, but they are indeed extremely good BC Mega Thread on them here .....
  7. Classic enough to be classic, different enough to not be generic Fender-alike, really rather special 👍
  8. If I were offered £100 per fault found with that bass I'd still not be able to find any, it is just absolutely bloody lovely at every level of scrutiny 👍
  9. Lots of lovely spare (and also unused) rubber ear inserts included
  10. The BEST bass trainer/personal monitor and by a long way (and I've owned them all), with very very god reviews on this very forum. I'm only selling because I'm focusing on upright from now on. This set has been VERY well looked after, wiped down after every use (as I do with all my headphones) and always kept in the bespoke case. They are in as-new condition, I also have the original packaging somewhere also so will aim to send in that. Details here https://www.boss.info/global/products/waza-air_bass/ Price includes UK delivery 👍
  11. Bought at the suggestion of our drummer who swears by them for live work but I've not used them and decided to stick with how I've done things for the last 30 years using conventional monitors. Supplied with cable they can do both wired and wireless monitoring. Unused and as new in original box with charging pouch/cable etc. Details here https://www.shure.com/en-GB/products/earphones/aonic215?variant=SE21DYBK+TW2-EFS Price includes UK postage
  12. Reverb have a really annoying autocomplete form that can completely mess up a listing. I don't know what that bass actually is but I've no doubt that as a newby the seller's probably been algorithm'd
  13. It is indeed, thanks Russ 👍
  14. Lovely broadcast quality mic great that excels in a number of applications but used by me mostly as a live/recording unit for DB and for spoken voice. In short it's had an easy life and not been exposed to any loud guitar cabs or shouty singists! Selling as I'm using Townsend L22s for voiceover and an Ear Trumpet Nadine for DB Shockmount and windshield unused and still boxed Price includes UK delivery 👍
  15. With apologies ‘delivery’ was meant to indicate in person, not by courier, rig is way too heavy 👍
  16. Not enough flute in live music these days Nice solid bass and BVs @wateroftyne 👍
  17. So, heading up through Kent, Essex, Suffolk, and Norfolk this Thursday. Possibly heading to North London following that…..
  18. Could also use a high quality DB case
  19. Always felt pre-amp number/choice was more about convenience/playing style than tone shaping, onboard for those who like/need to make minor tweaks during the set, pedal for more binary changes during set, amp for more global settings. But yes, PUPs a very good place to start 👍
  20. Mmm, or that would have been the case had my 4/4 not been a very long example of a 4/4, so having done the measuring it's too close to call and these are still unused in their original packaging. Happy to talk offers or trades/PX, I need a decent bow, and anything else DB-related is always of interest 👍
  21. Still have this, driving around over next few days if anyone fancies either meeting up or even delivery in person 👍
  22. BTW I read that on the internet so thought I'd repeat it here 👍
  23. Musicians forums are echo chambers, there's the tendency for people to repeat things they've read irrespective of whether they have the experience/opinion in question. As @tauzero suggests, use a bit of trial and error
  24. Thanks guys, quick reply Yes, it's a Diesel and not a Road Ready, my mistake I'm heading to Norwich If that thing in Manchester is a pint I might be tempted Re price, yes, mad, my first M-Pulse cost me £1200 used in 2012 and the cab cost me £300 relatively recently. But frankly, it's not being used for anything more than a mental health/bragging rights unit at present ("I have a Mesa rig" still makes me feel good), and if it sits around more than a few days I know I'll end up keeping it and then probably deciding to sell it again down the line. I also have a bit of time to meet-up/deliver at present which is a luxury that will soon pass Thanks all Chris
