  1. Buy a combo used on here, that link looks like a ‘get what you pay for’ unit to me
  2. Hi folks, I have two almost identical fretless Warmoth necks, they’re both trusty old friends and I’d quite like to fret one of them. Can anyone here do the work for me, preference would be to simply put the neck in the post. Idea of timescales and costs would be helpful 👍
  3. Always wanted to do this either at a wedding or Valentines gig
  4. Think I might have been in a bit of a bad mood yesterday 🤣
  5. Missing the point Tim, I just wanted to buy a bridge. Given PayPal was a payment option the need to register an account was either very poor web design or security for the sake of security.
  6. I know mate, it drives me crazy, all I wanted to do was spend £5 more than I needed to on a bridge because it was going to a music shop rather than Amazon! I don't understand why when so many retail sectors are pretty much click to buy without any need to register, I come across this so often with music stores. It's like they want to go out of business 😡 Bridge, a simple BBOT, nothing more 👍
  7. Found a low cost bridge for a project on a UK retailer/shop I'd not used before. So, I tried to buy it, but apparently had to register with the shop in question first. I was walking the dog at the time and doing it on my mobile phone. Long story short, after about 10 minutes of "Sorry, your password is insufficient, it needs to be at least 12 characters long with at least two non-consecutive capitals, one numerical symbol, one non-numerical symbol, and no dates or similar references....' I just gave up and bought the same bridge cheaper on Amazon. FFS UK music retailers, why put people off buying from you 😡
  8. Welcome @papabassus There's a very big selection to choose from, if you could specify price range, desirable power etc you'll get a more helpful response. My gut instinct response would be any of the Mesa Subway heads, but that may not be what you're looking for 👍
  9. Enjoyed that clip, we need to hear more 🙏
  10. Hey @Andyjr1515, thanks for the reply, and very sorry to hear about the arthritis, not a nice thing especially given your line of work. Thanks for the heads up re the thread which hadn't occured to me, I'll post there 👍
  11. If anyone's interested in this with the East MMSR circuit give me a shout before I restore it to stock and list on eBay 👍
  12. Gentle nudge to the top, suspect this'll probably have to go to eBay quite soon

  14. I very much doubt it Jack. I buy stuff with the best of intentions but occasionally it just goes into the void. No joke, I found a Beat Buddy - brand new and boxed - the other day, and remembered that my wife panicked one Xmas having not bought me anything so I bought it for her to give to me but completely forgot about it!
  15. I’ll dig it out mate 👍
  16. That is so f***ing dangerous, does that f***ing idiot not know what can can take place between flares and a bike chain when trouser clips have been irresponsibly left out of the equation 😡
  17. You can expect a visit from the BTP (Basschat Thought Police) sometime soon 👍
  18. It seems unlikely that scale length per se is a problem, but how you choose to manage that scale length certainly can be.
  19. 1/4s are shockingly small, to the point that I'd be pretty surprised if a normal sized adult could play one to any degree of satisfaction without developing some pretty nasty habits both postural and technical
  20. Many thanks @Sean, hope all's well mate I think an HX Stomp might be a little more than I need (and can justify spending). I'm wondering whether the Tech 21 VT Deluxe might get the job done, I've owned one before (albeit for different reasons) and found it pretty easy and versatile. No comp or course but I think I'm more in need to switching EQ/tone in real terms?
  21. If you fancy a further insight into the seller check out their feedback....... 🤣
