  1. Just to confirm, the Hipshots are 'USA' and not 'Licensed', so you can switch them to the left or right of your headstock.
  2. Will be in Preston next Wednesday...
  3. Yep - 19mm Carvin/Hipshot and 10mm spacing at the nut
  4. Now set up with Thomastik Infeld flatwound strings in E Standard.
  5. Not playing bass at the moment, so I have these to sell and will be adding other things later... > x3 Sets of Elixir Stainless Steel Nanowebs 45-105 Light/Medium (Long Scale) 'Bright Smooth Tone' > x1 Sets of Rotosound RS77LD Jazz Bass Monel Flatwounds 45-105 (Long Scale) 'Deep Warm Tone' https://i.imgur.com/yVHL2vX.jpeg ...£110 posted to UK mainland (want to sell as a bundle). > x4 Hipshot USA Ultralite Clover Machine Heads (1/2" Gold) - Some plating has peeled away on one the heads. https://i.imgur.com/ze3A8rr.jpg https://i.imgur.com/F53aIcT.jpg ...£85 posted to UK mainland (want to sell as a set). 6. Case is a 'Stagg ~ Universe of Music' in excellent condition.
  7. Willing to sell Jack Bruce and Chris Squire together for £100 + P&P while I'm including the Steve Harris in my 'Bargain Bass Bundle'.
  8. Haven't gotten around to taking photos of the inlay work, buts its a lot for £700.
  9. I always check profile for achievements and date joined etc before having a look through the feedback threads. Will check the Midget Cab thread as I'm not aware of what happened.
  10. I'd just use the Fender recommended measurements for their fretted basses. I have used it for my precision and its low enough with no buzz.
  11. And one o' those haemorrhoid pillows for the sore arse?
  12. The new Gibson one didn't come with a case for £1,800?
  13. I started on a Cort A4 Ltd after deciding against a Musicyo Tobias (if you remember those way back), then I got a Goodfellow etc etc. Frets Guitar Centre had a USA Peavey Cirrus for £1200 a couple of weeks ago and I know what I'd rather (nice retailer too). Members wrapped up in marketing and subsequently getting fleeced - Not great.
  14. I'm not an MM pickup guy, so I don't know about alternatives for that model, but there's better double soapbars for £1200. That's just a Cort A4/A5/A6 and you're getting rogered for twice the price.
  15. I've owned a Cort A4 and A6 and they're great, but for that price you should go for a used Peavey Cirrus, Carvin Icon, or Ibanez SR5000E - Better timbers that really open up the tone, just short of an Overwater Progress. I have Fishman Fluence pickups in my guitars, but I only use the one voicing.
  16. If helpful, can drive to Hexham/Penrith/Moffat for handover.
