2. Anyone for £635?
3. Just wanted to bump this, Looks gorgeous from the pics!
4. Cheers guys, I noticed the other US G&L bass on the site went for 1100 Euros - thats gotta cover the extra cost of putting frets n then some if you really need to. This one is essentially new and has a rare finish n fingerboard as well as being professionally setup. I'm guessing they're double the price new? Its just first come first serve now. I haven't neglected it completely because I do love the tone and switches, i'm working out Santana's Aquamarine bassline on it until it sells/trades. Palladino meets Franklin meets Jaco (I have Bruce on hand with my Hoyer too! )
5. bump
6. Buyer pulls out, back up for sale. The bass is professionally setup with a straight neck and low action. No issues at all and in as new condition.
7. Whats the width at the nut? Hows the B string?
8. SOLD PENDING PAYMENT
9. Nobody looking to buy their first half stack rig?
10. For those of you preferring a fretted bass to get a whole new fingerboard fitted by a pro luthier costs £300 (Overwater Basses). If you keep the ebony and get frets placed where the lines are, it will cost £100-£200 tops, if that. Its still a damn sight cheaper than finding a mint condition new one with this unusual finish. Don't write off playing a fretless its a lot easier than it looks and does a lot more than just jazz - check Tony Franklin. Very easy to get a crisp slap sound with a thick slab of ebony, fretted or not.
11. I saw a 4 string USA on Ebay for £600 in mint condition with hardshell case - it was a bargain. They are pretty damn good, I saw a chap using one at a fayre and it sounded incredible, however! The pickups are extremely difficult to change due to their shape and fit but I don't see why you'd want to. I'm talking about a Cirrus by the way haven't seen another model i'd like. I'm very keen to find a five or six string cirrus and would pay pretty well.
12. Badass bridges look shockingly sh*te. Who wants BADASS engraved on their bass? I bet it sounds awesome as I like humbucker basses. The pickguard isn't the best, far too big -should take a more traditional tele shape. +1 for the Green. Matching headstock would be better also.

14. Bump for a high quality lightweight cab in mint as new condition. Perfect with any head and ideal for someone who doesn't drive or has back problems. Very powerful for a small cab, perfect for pub gigs. Great price as it cost just over £500 new.
15. I dont know anything about the prices on these, but thats incredible.
16. Still Available
17. Bump! For a very cheap Luthier built custom bass. Love birdseye maple, always nice to have a good bit of timber for the actual player to look at - the audience can't have all the fun.
18. I'd offer someone quite a bit for a 5 string version.
19.
Yeah just up the road, you look familiar - I expect paths have crossed somewhere. Perhaps at Triban? I play in Tattsyrup, used to be in Michael's Bones & Hair o' the Dogma Cheers Dan
Hi Dan, I doubt it, I've only just arrived in Cardiff last year studying at the university - nice city but I have yet to get stuck in to the music scene here. Live lounge seems the best place for it. I've sent off for details from Germany about the Hoyer so it should come to me any day now! Oli
20. Never seen a Wal I liked till now. The timber on that is stunning.
21.
put some frets on it and i'll buy it geeza.
Wouldn't be a hard job to do, local Luthier's calling, its already setup. I prefer it fretless. The cost would probably take you up to half the price of a new USA still in as new condition.
