    Here’s a reply from another Washburn expert .... Heya Adee......WOW! These basses were made 1988-89 (I think the guitars, however, went for one more year??). You have a 1988 which sold originally for $1599.00. Also the serial number of K811113 tells us because of the "K" that it was made in the excellent Kasuga factory in Japan. Kasuga stepped in when Matsumoko went under mid-late 1985. I LOVE these SEC basses. Lucky you to have one!!! AND you have a very UNUSUAL magma paint job! Very nice indeed!

    Just got my hands on a rather splendid Washburn Chicago Series B-80 from around 1989 Superb condition with a very fetching Blue / Pink crackle finish, 2 band active, thru neck with a 'Stephen's Extended Cutaway' amazing condition Had quite a high retail price when new, I got it for considerably less I play in an 80s Rock Tribute show so its ideal www.that80srockshow.co.uk , although not everyones cuppa tea \m/ I can find very little about these basses .... anyone know anything?

    Bass Flight Case by 5-Star Cases of Wisbech very very strong and sturdy in good tidy condition with only a few small areas of road damage you expect, any tears have been glued, metal corners and tolex covered, would offer total protection in van etc The internal foam will need replacing

    ‘Ashtrays’ chrome bridge and pickup covers for P & J Bass I have tried to show scratches in particular in the bridge cover i can’t confirm if they are Fender or after market but I did get them in a Fender P-Bass £20 delivered in UK

    Hi I have my Fender Mustang Re-Issue year approx 2006 for sale In very good condition for the age with only the smallest of 'dits' and no major damage It has been fitted with a Nordstrand NM4 up-grade pick-up (cost £90) Comes in a genuine Fender Mustang fitted hard case and that is also very good condition (cost £200+) Plays like butter Come and have a try in Corby NN18 9BS Possible trades: Fender Precision a good MiJ or USA / MiM Roadworn etc also Sandberg P Don't want to ship, happy to drive a reasonable distance to meet up or come to my place where there will be tea, coffee, biccies !

    Worth a enquiring about these for £70 but they are listed as out of stock unfortunately http://www.shortscalebass.co.uk/product/flightcase-for-fendersquire-mustangbroncomusicmaster-bass/ I was lucky enough to get a Fender Mustang Hardcase with my MiJ Mustang but there is NO WAY I would fork out the £200+ for one, not worth the retail price !

    What round wound strings are you using on your Fender Mustang Bass (thru body stringing)? I have these but can’t identify what they are, coloured ball ends might help!?

    I’ve been lucky enough to pick up MiJ Mustang re-issue made around 2001 with Fender case in amazing condition except the previous owner decided to take out the stock pup and put in a Seymour Duncan APB Active EQ P-Pup and a BassMute Decided from the off I would remove the Mute system (now sold to Mr Beedster, hope it’s all good?) It just not a Mustang with an active pick up so I tried a passive P then invested in a Nordstrand NM4 ..... sounds awesome! As well as an ivory pearl pickguard and popped on a finger rest to give it a classic look. My first short scale, plays like a dream, makes you want to play and transition between Long short is easy too The finished ‘Stang ... Next thing I’m pondering is a re-fin in daphne blue .... Neeed

    I'm selling my 2x 12” Genz Benz NeoX 212T. It's in very good condition. 600W at 4ohm Original carpet covered version, No damage or marks, It comes with a Roqsolid cab cover as well.
