1.
Interested. Can I ask what you didn't like about them.
Liked everything about them, they were in a 70's Re-Issue Jazz that I bought off Joe Garcia, but I have now sold the Jazz with the original pups back in where they belong. The Wizards sound, full, meaty and punchy Don't think you could do much better for the money (or even more money) Thanks, Ade
 2. Wizard Hammer Jazz Pick ups (Pair) - Blurb from the Wizard site . . . . WIZARD SITE Struggling to get that dark crunchy tone you've always wanted? Lacking that oomph to get you over the line? Look no further, Hammers are loud dark and dirty, yet retain conventional construction - handwound, Alnico 5 magnets, cloth wound wire and attention to detail. Hand made in the UK ! These are as new, still boxed and the wires have not been trimmed Complete with screws and foam inserts 'Almost' as new £65 delivered

Thanks muchly.
Helps even out your sound so you dont have loud peaks, eg. when you go from a low note to a very high note or if you slap and pop Its very good at what it does Anyone else explaine it better?
 5.
I thought Fender Japan didn't release the 70's Jazz Bass until 1990-91
No they were made in the 80's onwards This is an original 'Made in Japan' not the later 'Crafted in Japan' model Cheers, Ade

 12. Hi Anyone know the Saddle Grub Screw size for a Fender Bridge? Bass is a 1986 MIJ Fender Reissue Jazz, saddle grubs are a bit too long and bloody hurt if you catch you hand on them ! Looking to replace with shorter ones, until I can track down a Badass II replacement for it. Cheers Ade
I get all nostalgic when I see these basses. When my first (proper) bass (p-bass) was nicked in 1980 or thereabouts I spent AGES in shops figuring out what I wanted to spend the insurance money on. The two main contenders were a particular Guild B-302 and some kind of precision. The precision won out in the end (still have that), but I spent so much time on the Guild it's almost like I owned one. Given my current taste in basses (fretless and five-stringed) the one that's for sale isn't for me ... but I'd still like to hear/play a fretless one. Maybe at a bass bash somewhere ? Anyway ... after that irrelevant ramble ... have a bump on me. Andy
Tiz a classic and a very usable one too. Looks bloody brilliant on stage, something a bit different No one after a classic !?
