  1. Fully working SansAmp RPM, Excellent preamp, but not getting used enough by myself. Let me know if you want a mains cable included.

  2. Smoothhound wireless system, 2.4GHz band. Works perfectly, comes boxed with PSU inside and instructions. A bit more sophisticated than the plug-n-play stuff, but just as easy to use. I'll post at cost (less than a fiver I'd expect) or pickup from Uxbridge area
  3. I used an Elf for a while, DI output didn’t affect speaker output at all,
  4. All above is good advice (balanced dynamic mics are fine with phantom power) You asked about plugging dynamic mics into the jack sockets? On your mixer those are line level inputs so there wouldn’t be enough gain for a mic.
  5. Whilst not wishing to put temptation in the path of a fellow musician (but immediately doing so…) I have a nice Sansamp for sale Just call me Wormtongue 🙀
  6. Strictly for plectrum players who wish to solo but can’t stoop to a “guitar” in my opinion. Of course I may be biased…
  7. Can I assume that you are mixing in mono? If so, and you are feeling creative (you may not be!) you do have the option of running the active full-range speakers from the two left outputs and the bins from the two right outputs (just a jack-XLR adaptor or similar cable required) That way by shifting the pan control left or right you can alter the amount of any channel that is running to either set of speakers. Full left = Titans only, Full right = Peavey bass bins only, central = 50/50 split It would enable you to run the bass-heavy channels more into the bass bins and vocals (for instance) only into the full range Titans. Not a perfect solution at all, but would cost less than a tenner to try out...
  8. As stated earlier, whatever you do don't use standard, solid core cat 5/6 cable - whichis meant to be fixed in place and not move. What you need is stranded core cable with a strong outer like this stuff - BELDEN 1303EPU CAT 6A DATA CABLE Stranded conductor - Deployable Neutrik also do a nice range of XLR-like plugs and sockets for cat5/6 cables, so you can run the van over them and still do the gig.
  9. I was more worried that I'd start blasting out the audio from 'Love Island'... 🤔
  10. The UHF band is pretty full (DTT TV, amateur radio, radio mic systems) and I can’t find which band of channels the Lekato uses. Therefore I’m slightly wary. Good to know that in a year’s use you haven’t had any problems. If I can find the exact frequencies I’ll post them.
  11. Lekato WS-70 I know that its UHF, which can be problematic for interference, but the small size and ease of operation swung it for me.
  12. Just squeezed a wireless system into 2024 (December 29th). That was close.
  13. I'm in (although I didn't last long last year 😞) 2025 is definitely a year to sell rather than buy and NOT be tempted by 'bargains' that aren't actually going to help the business of playing
  14. Zoom L20 Mixer and multi-channel recorder with Roqsolid dust cover and zoom custom carry case. The remote option is a 'usb bug' that gives bluetooth connectivity to your tablet/iPad/whatever From Zoom: The L-20 Mixer features 16 mono mic/line inputs and two stereo inputs, all with independent 3-band mid-parametric EQ. The 16 mono inputs offer stand-alone compressor control. Record 20 discrete channels plus a stereo mix directly to an SD card. The LiveTrak L-20 captures pristine audio in resolutions up to 24-bit/96 kHz. At -128 dBu EIN with +60 dB maximum input gain, the L-20 is equipped with our quietest and most advanced preamps ever. Mix down finished songs on the L-20 or transfer your discrete tracks to a DAW to perfect later. With six independent monitor outputs for musicians, each output can have its own custom mix, complete with effects, that can easily be switched from a powerful headphone output, to a balanced line output for stage monitors. All in mint condition. Pickup from Uxbridge area, or message me to sort out a handover. I have the original boxes so I can post at cost if needed.
  15. Looking at the spec of the Fender it is an 8 ohm cabinet rated at 300Watts continuous output, so fine to plug into the Trace Elliott head. However you might find that you don't get a huge amount of power, since the AH100 appears to give its full output into 4 ohms, so you may only get half the rated power out of it when plugged into an 8 ohm cab (I couldn't find a definitive spec for the AH100 but if I'm right that would be 50Watts RMS) like Bassbiscuits says: Amps will say something on the back about how many watts they put out at how many ohms. Something like 300w/8ohms or 500/4ohms for example. Similarly the cabinet should say whether it’s 8ohms or 4ohms. Only problem nowadays is that so many manufacturers quote 'peak' or 'instantaneous' power that the RMS output - which is the useful figure for both amps and speakers - seems to get left out of the marketing blurb
