TPTroll started following Family Photos , Squier P, 40mm nut width, with KiOgon loom and Wilkinson pickup ON HOLD - *SOLD* , NBD : Ibanez Roadstar II RB620NT (?) and 1 other

The pickups on these are ceramic with a brass base plate, hence the high/hot output.

Old reply I know, but that EB-TB bass is probably the prettiest bass I've ever seen, and sounds great.

These are all really helpful, thank you. That Sandberg Basic is gorgeous, hadn't seen that before. I think as suggested, a bitsa might be the way to go without spending silly money. I may keep an eye out for a peavey forum though, as that ticks alot of boxes. Thanks for the help.

I'm looking for a bass with a single humbucker in the mid position, closer to the space covering both P bass pickups. There's the old Warwick Streamer Standard, and some of the Ibanez artcore semi-hollow basses, but everything else is short scale that I could find, so wanted to see if anyone had other recommendations. MM stingrays have the pickup too for back, for clarity. Looking for it to be closer to the neck than the MM placement. I appreciate the easiest option may be to get a P-bass and mod with a custom guard, but wanted to check first. Thanks

Does anyone know of a stingray bass kit anywhere online, or at least anyone who sells a body? Thanks

Hi Does anyone know where I can get a decent but not crazy expensive 4 string through body bridge? Can't seem to find anything reasonable anywhere. Standard BBOT would be preference with brass saddles. Thanks

2005 Fender Japan CIJ 75RI jazz bass for sale. Ash body, sunburst finish. Maple neck bound and with pearl inlays. 38mm at nut, approx 56mm at 12th fret. I imported this in January 2016 directly from Japan, so this is a domestic version, not originally sold in UK. I don't think they sold the sunburst versions over here with the maple necks. It has some minor pitting to the metal parts (common from japan domestic items, due to humidity there), and the G string tuner head is a tiny bit loose when using it (as in loose from the tuner shaft, rest of the unit is fine and solid), but not noticeable otherwise. The white pickguard is the original one, the black is aftermarket. will be sold with both, and happy to change it over to the white pickguard before sending out. Everything else is entirely stock and as it came from Japan. It's currently strung with Thomastik flatwounds. It's got one of the best necks I've ever played. Simply stunning. I'm only selling as I don't really use it, I'm more of a P bass and guitar player these days, and it's too good to just be sat at home. Comes with a basically new Thomann hard case, some minor marks from storage on it. Happy for buyer to collect. Postage is £55 insured.

Hi I've got some brand new P bass pickups for sale. They're off a Fender Japan Exclusive classic 57 P bass I just imported new through Ishibashi. It's not available in the UK (only the white basswood one is, not the sunburst alder model). They've been played once, at home, then subbed out for Aguilar Hot pups. There's absolutely nothing wrong with them and the sound amazing, I was just really wanted to try the Aguilars. They're described as US made vintage pickups. I've read that previously, this has sometimes meant they're made in Japan to US spec. It may be different on this occasion, as they're labelled as US pickups. £50 inc postage. Thanks
