  1. Not the best picture of the bass, but the sterling sounds great through this, small foot print, lightweight and a big sound the streamlined has since been replaced with a Genzler
  2. Really enjoy my sterling, plays great if I were to replace it, it would be with one of the classic sterling’s, saw a light blue one yesterday, damn! probably wouldn’t replace it, would just get a classic, it’s that good!
  3. Staying in on a Saturday Night because we got to bump!
  4. Resurrecting this old thread The caprice has been around for a while and I have serious GAS for one Anyone been using one for a while and have any comments to make? I already have a sterling, like this p/up and combination and the jazz style neck, the diamond blue is a great looking bass Or do I pull the trigger on another P/J bass? Cheers Tony

  10. Just bumping this up in case there is somebody with a Caprice (not sunburst) who may want to trade Alternative would be a jazz with cash my way that would pay for a caprice when one comes up, eg £1250 Tony
  11. its a very nice bass type of bump!
  12. Had mine for a while, it's probably the third one I've had, had Stingrays in between Great basses, nice slim neck, lots of tones to play with, especially when matched with a amp such as a Genzler! I paid about £600 for mine, it's had a few knocks, but has the best neck and is lovely to play Tony

    Jazz

Same run of basses as mine I think! Mine is more relic, only ten faded sonic blues were made, five for export and five for USA I have floor rider for mine, they are classed as limited edition due to a fret board wood problem. One hundred bases had the necks changed and became that particular limited edition series I'm sure that's all the right facts behind those basses, all based on snippets of info of forums and some info from Fender CS Tony
  20. The purple one and maceo! cant link YouTube on my phone, or is it beer? https://youtu.be/Dll97CpnnH8
  21. Been following this thread for a while Really into filters, C4 is gonna give me good filters which I can use in a band situation and good synth sounds to play around with through the looper pedal, sounds like a lot of fun out of one box! Tony
  22. Something a bit more recent Really like Jesse Philips playing with St Paul and the Broken Bones, especially this track, really nice to play, can transcribe this if anyone is interested
