Limelight PJ in fiesta red with jazz neck (38mm @ the nut) Med / light relic number 00211 Weight is 4.1 kgs I upgraded circuit with one of those excellent Ki0gon circuits - Vol Vol Tone Plays great, only selling as I have my eye on something else and I’m not doing anything that my other basses don’t cover More photos on request No trades on this unless it’s a 75 reissue jazz or UV70 with cash adjustment I'm out of the UK for a few weeks, very soon, but posting this now to see what interest there is When I return I will try and get a box for shipping Thanks Tony

That’s good to hear We have had some heavy discussions about which type of fingering she prefers, probably sounds wrong that 🤣

Meant to post this ages ago as I bought it for my mrs at xmas first up, she’s a bloody good clarinetist, grade 8 when we were at school, principal clarinet in local symphony orchestra etc also played bassoon! Shes very good, just doesn’t play often enough in my opinion, but she is a busy lady! bought her lots of odd musical instruments over the years, including a huge cowbell! I had been thinking of doing the midi wind controller for a while, so in December, chased a few akai EWI USB models (glad I didn’t get one now) Then a EWI 5000 came up on eBay, put a sensible bid in, but got outbid, at the time I was 6 pints into a Friday night, so wasn’t up for loosing it Fast forward to Xmas day, once she realised what ut was and what it did, it blew her mind and she is addicted She’s not had a huge amount of time with it, but she is well Up for learning whatever it takes also got a load of USB stuff to connect to iPad, but for now, the 100 external sounds are enough

Has anybody done a comparison of 60’s vs 70’s Jazz pick ups in the same bass? one of my jazz basses has Aguilar 70’s p/ups in and it lacks something, in the mid range i reckon the 70’s wound p/ups are more suited to that era of jazz with the direct pick up position Wanting to try a more 60’s sounding pickup now i’ve had 60’s reissue jazz basses in the past and know what I’m after Any input would be appreciated Cheers Tony

More photos added and final price drop to £950 I can post if you don’t mind ‘ neck off body’ body can go special delivery and total (insured) is around £35 Sei Jazz bass - 4 string Originally made for Randy Hope Taylor, in sea foam green Telecaster style headstock Stunning flamed maple neck Nordstrand NJ4 60’s wind pick ups Kiogon loom Off white and tort' pick gaurds It's had a knock on the lower horn of the body, been quoted £50 to repair Hopefully that is reflected in the price Stunning bass, plays lovely, low action, skinny neck Collection from Manchester preferred as I don't have a box, but will try to find one to ship link to Bass Gallery where it was for sale at one time - it had a stack knob set up and different pickups then https://thebassgallery.com/collections/bass/products/sei-jazz-custom Selling as I have seen something else I would like to try, but would consider a trade with a USA 75 reissue jazz, Sadowsky UV70, or similar with appropriate cash adjustment More photos to follow this evening With white pickgaurd Naked!

Hi any recommendations for youtube videos for a total beginner (not me 🤣 although …..) I know what I watch on YouTube is probably similar to what a lot of you watch, intermediate and up, but I’ve lent out a bass to somebody and need to get a bit of video guidance for her on basics like left / right hand technique, fretboards positions etc She got a music background, plays keys and sings (very well) and I know a real world Tutor is what some will recommend, but at this stage it’s a case of getting her going to see if it’s something she wants to pursue cheers shep
