    I had another thread running about this bass, was looking to trade for a fretted version, but a few things happened yesterday that resulted in some serious semi acoustic GAS! I should know where I'm at with my GAS later today, but it is looking like I will pursue another route, so as a result, I am putting this bass out there! What we have is a Lakland hollow body in CAR It's got a fretted neck fitted, but started life as a lined fretless, this neck is included p/ups are Bartolini Comes with hard case and another set of flats This bass is in great condition, only thing I can see is a disc from the top of one of the tone controls is missing Looking at £875 ono (No Trades) Lakland Duck Dunn P Bass Candy apple red,, perloid pickgaurd Rosewood neck with blocks Jazz bass neck profile Lakland gig bag Bass is in great condition and I'm onl selling to move some cash into ssomething else I have going on, so no trades please!     I know it's not the best option, but I really like this bass and fretless just wasn't working! Been using a dearmond star fire and as soon as I switched to it, it was so much better! Tony

    I have had my lakland hollowbody fretless for around 12 months and the project I bought it for is working better on fretted bass, but I like this bass and I'm considering having it fretted! So figured I'd ask if anyone has a red fretted version of this they would like to trade for my fretless! A real long shot I know, but worth a try! Tony

    Gonna bump this for end of 2011 ! My new rig is ready next month! Don't have to pay for it until this goes, which is cool Whole rig or cabs, amp separate ! Probably less has been said about the cabs, but they are 1200w 4x10 neo cabs with covers! Tony

    Saw them in Manchester last night, great, really enjoyed it! Good mix of old and new tunes, I like the new album, really grown on me, and the new tracks are great live I really like josh' playing, he isn't John for sure, but he fits well and he is bringing his style in, which is cool, for me it is much better than the last time they had another guitarist! I ended up wrecked, late for work and my head is still not where it needs to be lol! Had a problem with someone who looked like he was trying to dip my GF's pockets, he got dealt with swiftly (launched via his neck!) this is a known problem now at the MEN ( and I guess other venues) watch out as you leave, phones, cameras and wallets are going missing Tony

    Really cool night, last night at the Zion centre in Hulme, Manchester ! Manchester DJ Dave Haslam chatting with Nile Rodgers about his life, chic, Bowie, madonna and of course, Bernard Edwards! What a great night, I have a lot of respect for this guy, he's a great musician, not just a guitarist, but an arranger and producer Second half he got his strat' out and played! Incredible, he talked about why he plays what he does and demostrated regular chords verses his inversions, really cool, he has that sound that is Nile Rodgers, it's in the hands and last night proved that! A lot of talk about the great Bernard Edwards, he obviously misses a good friend! And he has just recovered from cancer at 59! Tony

    Yeah, this is a good filter, but I'm wanting a soundblox BEF pro with a hot hand for some looping madness I've got going on with a Jamman and my ipad! Going to PO in the morning if someone wants to drop on this, for an early next week delivery! Tony
