1. I always look forward to it and always enjoy it Most of our gigs are playing origanil material, but every now and then we'll put out for a pub gig and play some covers Some times you get that feeling when the whole thing wasnt as tight as what it could be, or the sound wasnt just right, we know the venues where it is always gonna be great round Manchester and we also know those where it can be hit and miss We get to play with some great bands and we have a few guys play with us on occasion (for a few tracks) that give me a real buzz I love playing live, cant beat it and you never know whats around the corner, what you are going to get offered! I played my first live gig in 1980 I think, was 14 and I was playing in punk bands, funk bands and even the local youth jazz band, lots of gigs, lots of fun and a great way to learn! We've just had a break over the summer, back at it tomorrow night, two rehearsals then a gig at Joshua Brooks in manchester, part of Freshers week I think lol. Then between now and xmas, we are supporting both Sham 69 and flock of Seaguls (scary hair!) amongst other things! Lots to look forward too and lots too enjoy Tony
2. Had a fair few enquiries on this, but still here!
3. My recent experience with moving from a 650 watt head to a 200 watt all valve head suggests this 90 watts would be plenty!
4.
up for trades at all?
Sorry, no trades

8. I made the move to an all tube head a while back, after playing EBS for several years, the tube sound is more suited to what I am doing! I have a great rig, but just after I changed, I saw this! From the EBS site..... The EBS Classic T90 All-Tube bass amp is developed by EBS and experts with more than 20 years experience from building exclusive tube amps for hi-fi and guitar. The result is a hand-built tube amp with special designed transformers and selected and matched tubes. Classic Tube Sound for Live and Studio The 90 tube-Watts makes the EBS Classic T90 a perfect amp for the studio, especially since it comes with a direct driven balanced tube output. The amp is also very well suited for use in live situations – and a perfect companion to the matching EBS ClassicLine cabinets. Carefully Designed The special designed transformers are overdimensioned and all materials carefully selected to perform at a maximum level - at all times. The tubes are quality selected and matched with precision, and burnt-in for 24 hours after mounted in the amp to reveal any quality issues in time. Features The amp has a separate input for active and passive instruments and a separate output for 4 Ohms and 8 Ohms speaker cabinets. The control panel has a classic style layout with controls for Volume, Bass, Treble and Presence. Technical Specifications Nominal Input Level -18dBv (passive), -8dBv (active) Input Impedance 1Mohms (passive), 100kohms (active) Tone Controls Bass +/-12dB @80Hz Treble +/-12dB @8kHz Prescence 0 - +12 dB @5kHz (pwr amp eq) Balanced Output Level -10dBv Power Output 90W RMS Tube Selection 2x 6550 power tubes 1x 7025 now noise selection 1x 12AT7, 2x 12AU7 Dimensions (WxHxD) 21,1”x10,5”x9,57” / 53,7x26,7x24,3 cm Weight 16,7 kg / 37 lbs. Not sure if they are in the UK yet as they are not listed on the EBS UK site yet! Thomann are listing it at £986 which seems good for what it is, plus EBS have a reputation for building great gear, I know this from personal experience Tony
9.
Got any pictures? I'd love to see the repair.
The crack is still in the laquer, it's just the split in the wood that was repaired to stop it getting worse! I just robbed some of your photo's!! Forgot to mention, it has straplock's, drop D tuner and the original tuner Thx to mildmanofrock for the photo's, this is pretty much as it is now, but will get some close up shots this week
10. I have a Sterling that I want to move on as something has give me GAS Sunburst, maple fretboard, with MM hard case The bass plays and sounds great, however....... There is a chunk out of the laquer along the top of the bass There is also a crack in the laquer around the control cavity, the bass was dropped at some point and the wood around the cavity split slightly, this has been repaired and is probably stronger than the surrounding area. It does not affect the playability of the bass So, taking all this into account, I will be looking at £475 plus shipping, no offers as this is a fair price for a great bass I will confirm this is up for sale as soon as I can Photo's will be done by end of the week -------------------------------- Iceni Fretless with fretted neck also for sale -------------------------------- Tony
11. I've got a cover for an EBS 4x10 cab, neo or pro line Mint condition £20 posted Tony
12. Bump, back in the Uk on Wednesday May trade musicman!
13. another bump on this, probably wont be able to ship until after this weekend, at which time, someone will do it for me (as I will be somewhere far warmer) Tony
14. I thought the fretted was 40mm and thie fretless was slightly narrower? It isnt with me now so can't check at 40mm its 2mm wider than a Jazz, but it has a very narrow, slim profile, feels slimmer than a jazz as a result. I like narrow nuts and I like this, it feels right There is an offer pending on this, just waiting for the person to get back to me to confirm, so still on the market Tony
15. Got someone on this but they are slow to reply, so gonna bump it Holiday plans have changed, so this is shippable early next week Tony
16. Bump Last day I can ship this is tomorrow, should someone wanna go for it I'm off for two weeks, so PM me if intrested as I will have www access, but will not be able to ship until w/c 6th september Cheers Tony
