I'm not ruling out the posibility of a trade on either of these basses Quality 4 string fender Jazz, but be quick as I have my eye on something right now The same with the pedulla, but again, I have my eye on another 5 string fretless that is around half the value of the pedulla, the reason being is I probably ain't using the pedulla as much as I thought I would, but I still need a fretless as I do play it live on at least one track, and can see it being used on a few more, so don't want to be fretlessless Tony
By the time I found what I believe was the 'Basschat stand' it was a table pushed up against the wall with about 10 tee's on it... so I'm guessing I was a bit late! :-)
I thought the bass chat stand was the long one, just in front of the bar, I think MB1 did as well! Some additional info Sei bass The bridge is ABM and string spacing is 19mm The neck profile is what I would call slim, it feels real nice to play (to me) The J-retro is a very recent addition, it has an extra mini toggle switch fitted to switch the blue, side neck LED's There are some small marks on the body, but nothing significant, will try and photograph these The bass is currently branded as Mcintyre as it had a overhaul by Chris Mcintyre who worked for Sei at the time this was made Pedulla The coating has been removed from the fretboard, it had some holes in it and was buzzing on them. Now it is down to Ebony, I think Shockwave has done the same to is, it is not uncommon to have this done Includes Pedulla case and there are a few items of the origanil case candy still in there

Thanks for all the PM's, this was just a feeler and a few calls this morning have changed the situation very slightly The Pedulla is probably going to be available right now, the Sei will not be available until February next year This is due to me gigging fairly regular and having to wait for next bass I will try and answer all the questions I have from PM's and post some pics, even though the Sei will stay with me for a little while longer Apologies to all those whose GAS has been ignited by the mention of the Sei, I had the same problem yeserday Tony

Great day, got a bit of an hangover this morning, I was in the vicinity of MB1 for most of the day, we had a few beers! We were in an area where stevie threw a set of strings, it hit MB1's pint and drowned me! Got some GAS, which I will be moving on today, could go in one of two directions, still mulling it over T -
Bass day has given me some stupid GAS, so I wanna see if there is any intrest int current crop of basses 1. 5 string sei bass, White, rosewood board, oval inlays, bart' pick ups, j retro, hard case - £1000 2. Pedulla 5 string pentabuz lined fetless, cherry red, Bart pj pick ups, 17.5 spacing - £1200 GAS may go, so be quick! Tony 07834452180

I got two reoqaolid covers for mty ebs cabs last week, I needed them quick and they did a great job turning them around for me. Good quality too T

Hey, all opinions are welcome, it's an open forum. My only experience has been whilst doing a few recent gigs with him. Good player and a nice bloke, but I suspect given a bit of space he has the capability to go off on one T
Tony, you're a legend.
Cheers Joe! It's nice to be back playing, and playing with good musicians after a bit of a break! we may get chance to play with another well known guitarist in the near future, still in the planning stage yet though You coming to bass day? BTW, this was a 4 bass gig!!!! too many changes!!!! I use my Sei 5 string and Pedulla for our regular set, which preceded what you see in the video, I then played Corpses on a P bass, cos thats what he wanted, although that will be played on my Sei bass next time (my j-retro nails the tone) and My Star is played on a fully detuned P bass, didn't wanna take the chance of moving all 4 strings up and down a tone, was worried the tuning may not settle. I went on the side of caution and did a quick bass swap! I swapped back to my Sei right at the end for a quick blast thru 20th Century boy to finish the set, that went down great Tony

Thanks Mr Fox, I guess one of the disadvantages of the solund being recorded straight into a video camera is that the bass gets sucked out The band is going well, we were playing live a lot and it has tightened us up a lot, got a bit of a break now and we're re recording some older tracks and getting a few new tracks together Playing with someone like Aziz is an experience, he has been around a bit (simply red, stone roses) and can be demanding when it comes to getting stuff together! The track on the video is off Ian Browns forst album I think (correct me if I'm wrong, I was into the SR's but lost intrest with his solo stuff) He has a duo with a tabla player called Dahl, does a lot of asian style blues stuff, worth seeing from what I hear, we are doing an acoustic set in december as support to him and Dahl We're doing a date with the Blockheads next month, was going to see them anyway, but now I'll be there playing Tony

Thank you very much sir! T

I hear Leopard is good for the update even though it didn't work on mine, snow leopard has (did have?) issues Tony
-
I shut everything down and tried different usb ports, still no joy Also tried on my mac, still didn't work Got a guy in work bringing another usb-midi interface in tomorrow Cheers Tony
-
No problem, its just a little bit frustrating! I'm really hoping that this is going to be something simple like a midi interface, so I have a plan this morning! I've brought the midi interface into work, going to give it to someone I know who uses midi a lot, for him to test It still may be possible it's a midi problem as the other system I used it on was connected via a midi patch bay, but this has been used on Line 6 devices before?? Also posted on Line 6 forum, but not checked yet for replies and after being advised to ring Line 6, all I got was a request to send an e-mail, to which I have yet to get a reply T
-
Tried two sperate midi set ups. I mentioned several times that I tried it on a system that has been used to update Line 6 products (x3 etc) via monkey before Yes, swapped cables round. I've been using stuff like this for a long time, so have half an idea what I am doing, please read what I've wrote previousley cos I'm just repeating myself a lot here! T
-
Tried it on my laptop, my G5 running Leopard and a guitarists PC that has been used to update other line 6 devices! Midi interface is one I bought from PMT yesterday, Forgot the make, Light......! or somethin like that, wasn't a budget job!! Tony

Tried every conceivable way of connecting, powering etc, still not recognising M9 over midi also did a factory reset, still nothing T
