1. Nice bass line to play if you get it! Not as nice a feeling as nailing the whole of space cowboy with all zenders variations though T
2.
personally I find your lack of faith disturbing (i've got your lead singer's t-shirt)
Not as cool as my T, young Jedi! T
3. Nice basses Alan, that aggie rig is nice as well! I've been thinking about another 5 for a while now and saw that blue jazz on the shuker site, very nice! I think I may need to speak to John, maybe wait until Bass day Thanks for dropping the p/ups off BTW, sorry I wasn't around! Tony
4. Sei Jazz 5 I would also check out Nordstrand right now! 34" or 35" scale? I like to stick with 34" which does put a few basses of my list, which is unfortunate cos I miss some great stuff like overwater!! T
5. I'm gonna be putting some Nordy's in my Sei very soon, so I will have a a pair of Bartolini dual coil soap bars for sale, I will get the part number off the Bart' site when I get chance. My bass is 19mm spacing, they are in good condition, being chnaged cos I feel like a change, simple as that, I'm also gonna put a new pre in at some point as well £60 posted sounds about right They will be available maybe next week, depends when I get round to fitting the Nordy's as I have a lot of playing to do back end of next week Tony
6. If 35" scale works for you, that overwater is well worth a look, otherwise, within your price range, I'd check out a used custom bass, i.e. sei, GB etc. It may be a waiting game as they don't come up too often! That is speaking as the very happy owner of a sei bass that was bought used for less than 1K, new price is over 2K! T
7. Thanks for sorting the link for me, I couldn't figure out how to post a youtube link (and I run my own forum ) T
8. Meatball is off to e-bay tomorrow, one just sold for £400 T
9. Played at Moho in Manchester a few weeks back and this clip turned up a few days back, sound ain't too bad, which is suprising cos we thought it was bloooody loud! It's only a few minutes of one song! Logicals @ Moho Tony
10. Both my basses are 5 string, but I consider 4 as the standard, I choose to play 5's as I like to have the option of varying some of the riffs I play with some lower notes, I was probably inspired to do thos by listening to the likes of Stuart sender on tracks like space cowboy! Got a gig in November with aziz ibrahim, he who replaced john squire in the stone roses and wrote a fair amount of ian browns first solo album. He's playing on two of our songs and we're also doing two of his tracks, corpses and my star, both of which go down beyond E. No problem on my 5, but I am told he will insist I play it on a 4 strin p bass, detuned, cos that's what sounds right! Tony
11. Got a P Bass, so straight sale only again Meatball OC-2 3 channel loooper with extras T

seems to be a lot of speculation about what is or isn't in this unit! Be intrested to have more info T
13. Could be up for a trade on jap' or US PBass for the meatball, or the lot, cash which ever way!! Tony
14. I think if you search for envelope filters you'll find plenty of opinions on all the above filters, but maybe not the enigma For what its worth, from that list, I would pop for the EBS bass IQ, also consider a Boomstick bottom feeder or tonefactor equivalent. The Maxon filter is highly rated but never tried one. Moog filter is good, can use exp' pedals, but needs to be in a loop cos it is a tone sucker A vintage mutron or Love tone Meatball are probably two of the most desirable out there As for the enigma, it sounds intresting, looks like they ran it with distortion on all the way thru the video, would have been good to hear the clean sound! T
15. I know run pro tools with a G5, so have some PC parts for sale, these made up my PC DAW The parts are a few years old, but still work well, at the time, I spent many hours searching various parts of the www to find what most would consider to be the most ideal set up, mobo, processor etc, this PC was the result There are a lot of parts here and I would rather see it go as one Asus A8V mobo Processor (intel pentium ? need to check) Several sticks of RAM (Size ? need to check) Various cables and fittings for extra USB ports for the Mobo D-link wireless card Network card (ethernet) 4xUSB socket card Yamaha SCSI CD writer (front is a bit dirty) Hard Drive (Size ? need to check) Plus any other bits I can find to add to this lot I also have an unused Lightscribe DVD writer (silver) - £25 Used Lightscribe DVD writer (cream) £20 Various wireless mouse and keyboards - need to sort these out and see whats there, all Logitech Will update this some time today Tony £50 for the lot

18. I have a playlist on my i-pod for the covers we do, don't do them very often as we do our own stuff most of the time, so I've got to make sure they stay in my mind. We always do MC5 Looking at You in our own set though, cool tune and most poeple ask, "MC5 who are they?" Also have another playlist with our own demo tracks on T
