1. New octave pedal out in September from september Aguilar Octamizer Great playing by Jonathon Maron Tony
2. Hi Played a gig on Saurday, we play mostly original stuff, but chucked a few covers in for this one and two Who tracks we kind of glued together worked well as the set opener. The guitarist looped through the start of Baba Oreiley, building it up with 2 seperate loops, we then hit the F C B flat section, held the F on the last time, the guitarist sent the first loop into reverse, then after a pause on this the drummer counted into My generation, which is a big tempo shift and from the on we belted thru My Generation, even got a big cheer as I nailed the four bass solo sections. It worked suprisingly well, big fat chords to start with, then big tempo shift into my Generation! Tony (still wrecked from a crazy weekend)
3. OK, thanks, the speakon cables I have are just long enough to connect the bottom cab and are the same length Cheers Tony
4. Whats the best way to run an EBS TD650 with 2 EBS 4x10's? a. use the 2 outputs from the head, going to each cab b. use one output and then link from the 1st cab into the second The head will run down to 2 ohms Cheers Tony
5. This bass is identical to mine (apart from the colour) as this price you wont be dissapointed, at a hiogher price you wouldn't be dissapointed!!!! Tony
6. Pedal train JNR is looking sold, pending the usual Boss OC-2 - classic octave pedal Lovetone Meatball - The ultimate filter 3 channel loooper - very versatile true bypass looop pedal All still for sale T
7. Glad to hear you are enjoying the Sei, mine is working well for me in regular giging band, it's more rock based, but it still does a great job. The one you have, has a U-retro? Next step for me is a J-retro, just need some adjustments making to the regualr set up to make it work for me (need LED switch) The 5 string fretless mentioned earlier, is possible Paul Turners old bass, that was made around the same time mine was, they were both made for Mr Turner and are very early jazz models Cheers Tony
8. Yeah, it is, easy to play, just the transition from verse to chorous first time round threw me, thats gotta be a mistake? It's what you would consider to be right going into the second verse! I just wanted something quick for a rehersal last night, but palyed it from listening to it a few times and it went well, just want to get the little fills in the chorous right, but worked most of them out whilst playing it. It's in the set list for a gig where we gotta throw in a few covers next week Tony
9. @ Matty, yes it did have a PSU, but I dropped it off as it looks as though my new multi FX will sit on pedal train 2 and the PSU will power my strobostomp! The PT Jnr is in mint condition though, like new! Tony
10.
pics ofthe 3 channel looper? I might just go true bypass!
This is a pretty well specced looper with 3 channels, tuner mute and momentary latching switches on 2 channels, these are selected using the small black push down switches. allows you to quickly drop an effect in and out!
11. PT 2 may be better as it gives room for an exp pedal and tuner for those who dont get on with the Line 6 tuner! I'll try and take a photo of our guitarists board tonight at rehearsal T
12. Ste, what you using for moving your M13 around, our guitarist has his on a PT2 with an exp pedal and some other boutique box he can't do without? Flightcase, bag etc? T
