5. This is just a feeler at the moment as I'm thinking of investing in a another fretless as fretless is seeing some action in my new band This is a Bass Collection Jazz Bass, five string, ash body, lined ebony board with dots (not a de fret) MEC J p/ups, 2 band active eq, gold hardware Plays nice, plenty of the proverbial mwaaaaah in there, odd thing is, pan pot is wrong way round? will probably get that sorted Looks and feels like 19mm string spacing (no ruler) and 34" scale Made by Momose, part of the Deviser family, which includes Bacchus and Headway hand made ranges! Photo's to follow Tony
6. Been away for a while bump! Tony
7. I had one of these, back in the day! Was finished in good old "Ford Escort Blue" now owned by a good friend of mine. Not made in the Warwick factory, warwicks very first attempt at getting stuff made elsewhere, the result in this case is a slimmer profile neck (bolt on if i recall) than is usual for Warwicks, also maple with Wenge(?) fretboard. Nice basses! T
8. OK, so it is the same people as zoot basses! Just curious, I'm an EBS man, but these looked like a valid option for someone looking for a lightweight cab Tony
9. I would have done this, but will be in Cairo that week T
10. Anyone heard of zoot bass cabs? I am familiar with the name as a UK bass builder but not as a builder of cabs, they are being sold by a company called Lean Audio? Lean Audio Tony
11. George L's all the way, unless you are perfectly happy with what you got on your board and the layout, then invest in some cables of the correct lengths from OBBM T
12. I probably don't need to add this, but, I bought the white 5 string McIntyre / Sei bass that Ian sold last year, I assume that bass was made by Chris McIntyre whilst at Sei (correct me if I am wrong Ian) If that is the case, someone will be getting a fantastic bass! Chris also did some work on my bass, all good stuff, highly recommended if you want any work doing! Good luck with the sale Tony
13. I'm needing lines on a fretless (call me ghey if you wish) otherwise I would have had this! Does it have a truss rod? I recall early Moduli didn't! Is the action nice n' mwaaaaah, low? Tony
14. FX25B envelope filter, mint a quick search on here suggests £35 inc shipping? Tony
15. Just read this from page one, nice collection of basses, the Pedulla is one of the nicest fretless' out there and on my GAS list! Good luck with the move! Tony
16. I've been using these on my PB since I built it, no problems, never heard of any either! Tony
17. Nice bass and soooo right for my new gig, but all the $$ has gone, will just have to keep using the Sei Good luck with the sale! Tony
18. Went well last night, three original tracks and a few covers, but most of the set is own material 20 songs to learn, plus a few covers Some good gigs waiting!! Really pleased I picked up a TD650 a few months back, played 4 (MM stingray) & 5 (SEi Jazz) string last night, no effects just a TU2 Tony
19. Did the "usual" happen, is it sold?
20. I had the pleasure of photographing Paul Gilbert on his solo tour early this year! Image shows big cans!
21. I prefer played to relic'ed, I think that is what Kiwi was saying. I doubt I will ever buy a new bass, not because of the money, just feels better to have me when I have something thats been around a bit and seen some action (there's a like "my women gag" in that last statement!!) You gota accpet some knocks, still gutted when I make a new one though! Tony
