1. A few enquiries on this but I've been a bit slack this week, so photos have not been done etc etc I'm off to Southern Spain tomorrow for just over a week, will try and get some pics on tonight Will consider trades on Fender '75 RI (USA) or Fender Dluxe (USA) 4 string Tony
2. I'm in Manchester, but in Spain for a week from tomorrow Tony
3. I've always found that the neck thru basses have the better, slimmer feeling necks, even though the nut width is identical on nearly all models except the Dolphin 4 string. Even a newish Stage 1 feels fine, there is, as already mentioned still some variation in neck thickness in the same models thru the years. For me a Stage 1 4 string represents real good value if you look at the prices they are going for, unless you want a specific pick up set up such as the $$, I reckon it's worth trying to scrape together the extra dollar!! I Dolphin 5, this has a nice neck, if anything the string spacing is a little too tight for me, the Dolpohin rnge seems to be the opposite of the Stage 1 basses, the Dolphin 4 has a wider nut than the Stage 1 4 string, yet the Stage 1 5 string goes down the broad neck route whilst the Dolphin is narrower. Warwci now offer a custom neck profile thru their custom shop, it's a lot of $$ though. I spoke to a UK custom geezer a few years back who said it was real easy to shave warwick necks down so they feel a lot slimmer, it doesn't take a lot of wood, you just gotta know where to take it from! Tony (waffling on a sunday morning)

9. I know you're an Ashdown man, just throwing the offer out to the masses! It is a great sounding amp, used it in anger on Sunday night, sound sweeeet, but want something more compact and light to go with the Neo cab, none of us are getting any younger T

12. Yeah, I saw that one! Is that recent cos I thought e-basses stopped production a few years back, or are they still aking the odd bass? Tony
13. I'm going the small route, without too many knobs, buttons and slidey things! Looking like a Mark Bass Little mark II! T
14. Check this You Tube clip out, it's a local bass player called Nige Clutterbuck who's been scaring the crap out of normal bass players for a good few years, I'm sure some of you know him! He's also a Rotosound rep' or was? Please take the clip in the context it was intended, a speed slap fest! (gotta say that cos this sort of thing always gets a slating), The guy is a good all round player, who can hold down a groove as well as do his crazy stuff, there is a fairly broad range of techniques featured here Warwick and Mark Bass featured also! 18. I've been running an EBS TD650 for a while now, but I'm thinking of a change! I'll be keeping the EBS 2x12 Neo cab, but looking for a smaller more compact amp, capable of putting around 500w into 4 ohms I've been through a few amps way back, ashdown, TE etc, but now there are a few new brands out there, Markbass, Thunderfunk etc, then there are the old skool SVT3, newer ashdown and TE? Basses are Jazz / MM sort of thing (going through a change with these also!) I'm gonna go out and try a few, but would be good to hear some opinions
19.
I can't believe that the Streamer is still here. At this rate I might start saving. Have a bump.
UPDATE Streamer now sold (no need to start saving!) Tony
