I know one of these too. Can't fault how he gets the crowd going. Have seen it happen but only in one band. He is only there because he props himself up with talented musicians, and maintains extremely tight control over unauthorised recordings of his vocals (no YT clips allowed if their sound guy hasn't worked his magic etc).

I saw these do a support slot. It was dire. I have got heavy metal running through my veins but even I objected to the girls shouting in place of singing. Worst idea ever. At one point, my mate leant over and yelled in my ear, "This is really shit!" just as the song ended. Oops.

It's more a case of struggling to hit the right note whilst thinking something along the lines of 'I bet Gene Simmons doesn't have this problem, the bar steward'

Fortunately, I have not come across anyone wearing shorts in a tab video. Mind you, after seeing my number one idol David Ellefson peddling his wares on Twitter last week, my eyes are freshly bleached and anything else would be positively tame in comparison at this point.

But you want to know what I hate? How when you watch a bass video on YouTube and some guy is just sitting there, all junk and no face. Like turn your body away from the camera a little bit, dude. I don't wanna see your package! Any other ladies have this issue?

Ride the Lightning also a great album. No argument from me. Revisiting these albums and feeling a little anti-climatic with it .. I don't know. I think words like groundbreaking are a bit of a cliche but when those albums were first released, at the time, yes, the whole thing was blowing peoples minds, it was such a new sound coming through. I don't even think I have done it justice summing it up in that sentence, to be honest. Personally, I wouldn't say MoP is the undisputed metal album of all time, but all of those early Metallica albums have rightly deserved their top spots in metal history.

Yeah! And we want proof of the single-ness too! I want to see at least three days worth of washing up! 🤣

Seems they spend much time moaning about their awful daughter in laws who have 'stolen' their 'prince' away from them, and how very dare those women who have married their sons then not follow their well meaning but incredibly out of date pushy advice about how it's okay to leave the baby in a pram at the bottom of the garden to cry it out for three hours. Not that I'm speaking from experience or anything ... 😜
