You'll have to ask the main man @Al Krow, he was harping on about it for months before I bought it off him but I wasn't really listening. (I am a busy woman). All I have really done with it so far is use the custom effects but only because I have other software, and have no desire to use a drum machine. I would recommend it as a good starter pedal though, just to get some flavours. It has certainly helped me begin to discern what's what.

Crunchy isn't the word I'd have used but anyway 👍 I didn't get the rest of the stuff you guys were saying a couple of pages back. I really do like the Rat effect on the b14 though, so I'm glad you went from Darkglass to Rat when you were talking to @Al Krow, I am obviously getting something right somewhere in my own little world of not a clue ...

I definitely want to explore it some more, yes. It sounds good but it doesn't sound quite 'right'.

I hope no bunnies were harmed during the creation of that effect.

I was speaking generally! Some of those effects don't half remind me of the slappy stuff you like to play 😆 (and why wouldn't they, it was yours first) That Darkglass patch is alright but it's not quite perfect to my ear ... I think I require more ....

YES. I saw PT in 2008 which was the first gig I have ever been to where the audience remained seated throughout. It didn't stop loads of people shouting "I love you Steve!!!" all the way through, mind (not me).

My best purchase of 2021 was a second hand Zoom B14 pedal off @Al Krow which has provided lots of fun messing around with stupid effects that do not match the music I'm trying to play in any way, shape or form. There is not a contender for most boring purchase although there was a vaguely entertaining period during the summer which kept me on my toes, as I bought and returned several cables to Planet Waves which were faulty/suspected faulty/not faulty at all just me being a wally really. Thankfully, @bassfanhad the good sense to step in and recommend a Van Damme cable which is dead slinky and I love it.

Aaaaaand I'm in the next one up.

Last year, electric guitar sales spiked like crazy after the pandemic began. I read an interview somewhere - can't remember who or where - reporting that their guitar company was having the best year of sales in decades. Fender also began doing free online classes for beginners. What a great marketing idea - an upturn in guitar sales, so let's get free classes out there for people to develop their skills and become longterm customers.

Was supposed to be Carcass/Behemoth in Birmingham - has been rescheduled to next year. Next up was Evile in October - just flogged my ticket as cba to drive to Manchester, got too much personal stuff going on taking up my time and energy 😥 Next gig - Alien Weaponry 2022 - hooray! Did not score Anthrax tickets 2022 yet - boo!

What is it about Izettle that's not working for you, I'm not sure what you mean by tieing up your phone? I have used Stripe, Square and GoCardless as well as Izettle - can't say one really outweighed the others.

I've used one of those type of storage facilities before. Main doors open all day and it didn't appear to have any type of temperature control. I can't figure out if I'm overthinking this whole thing or being foolish by potentially overlooking it. Anyway, I think I've had great advice on here already so thanks everyone.
