5.
I get what you're saying but why would someone go to the hassle of saying its a ray35? Would be a very strange thing to do.. haha
Yeah probably.... who knows. Anyway I have someone with first dibs on the neck now, will send him pics tonight, If he decides its not for him will stick them up here so you can have a better look... Cheers TK
 6. p.s just checked the picture....:http://i56.tinypic.com/9g8vid.jpg I'm not convinced this is a Ray 35.... If it is, it has had an original style SR pickup + pickguard added at some point..... What do you think?
 7.
Hi there - are you sure the neck doesn't fit a ray35? I would be very interested in buying this - but to fit it to my ray35. I heard that this neck does fit & here is the link & photo: http://www.talkbass....m-ray35-774032/ http://i56.tinypic.com/9g8vid.jpg I would def buy this if it fits! Cheers, Jonny
Hi Jonny. I stand corrected! I'm sure it could be made to fit... the neck pocket on the Ray35 is smaller. Not by much mind, probable 1-2mm max. So with a bit of routing I'm sure it would go on fine, all other dimensions are identical. I reckon they do this so people don't stick genuine SR5 necks on them. The reason i didn't do it was I wanted to keep the Ray 35 sell-able with its original neck... If you aren't fussy about really tight neck pockets then that is fine I guess... or maybe mine was just a one off??... The Status neck is tight on my SR5 too mind, but it does fit without modification...
