  1. If she was no good to begin with, why was she taken aboard?
  2. My Squier is used at rehearsal every week. Love it.
  3. But you told the kids that music today is rubbish, listen to the old stuff, that's better.
  4. I guess this is a cheaper way of removing all bass and treble from your sound.
  5. You could sell it in the BC marketplace has mint condition?
  6. I remember when I had to sell up and had no basses. I saved money and purchased another one.
  7. The input jack engaged will turn on the pedal. With no input jack, it will not turn on.
  8. Is there a lead in the input jack when you connect to the power source?
  9. Tonerider.
  10. It's amazing how many players believe that going from Thomastik flats to heavy gauge drop tuning rounds won't have much effect on the neck. I find even switching brands, still the same gauge, will require a truss rod tweak.
  11. Do not question the master of the universe!
  12. Not yet...
  13. Difficult situation now... I like the Spark and Beta MKII in different ways. The Spark is more neutral and organic sounding but the Beta gain and break-up sounds more valve like... sigh! Beta reminded me a lot of the Bearfoot Blueberry.
  14. Wrong.
  15. A mate has let me borrow his Beta MkII for a few weeks so I get to compare it one on one with the Spark tonight at rehearsal. Stand by...
  16. Well that's not the original pickguard for a start.
  17. Apologies, didn't even mention the bass guitars in the original post. 2016 Fender American Standard Jazz Bass installed with DR Pure Blues. 2021 Squier 40th Anniversary Precision Bass installed with Dunlop Flatwounds.
  18. Any SS amp with a low gain OD in front of it will do the job.
  19. I've used Servisol and WD-40 on my basses - no issues with either.
  20. Don't look like flats to me.
  21. I'm sure the usual suspects will pipe up in a minute. Haters gonna hate!
  22. I have two basses which cover all eventualities. A P with flats and a J with rounds. The J was my only bass for the last couple of years. The P was going to be a reserve but is now on equal footing. Who else is done?
  23. I highly recommend the Neotech Mega. https://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Neotech-Mega-Bass-Guitar-Strap-Regular-Black/23VG?origin=product-ads&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI3ZPs6YCPgwMVDTgGAB26uASVEAQYASABEgK_AvD_BwE I've used one for over five years with no issues. Better made than the Comfort Strapp and does not slide like the Mono GS1.
  24. Fleor on Amazon are great for the price.
  25. Great pickups and highly regarded back in the day. RIP.
