  1. The Squier 40th Anniversary Precision I purchased last year is one of the best playing and sounding Ps I've ever had. I was comparing it in the shop, side by side, with Fender CS models. The Squier blew them away.
  2. A watched pot never boils. 👍🏻
  3. What is it with YouTuber bass players lately? Nobody watching your vids?
  4. Yup... that's a Jazz bass.
  5. Any recommendations on which strap? They offer a lot of models.
  6. The first number, whatever it is.
  7. Great combos - similar to the CMD121P but with more wattage.
  8. After a good quality strap that counters my neck diving P. Tried Mono and Neotech and whilst comfortable on my shoulder, they don't do much to help with the neck dive issue. Any straps out there that counter neck dive and give you comfort on the shoulder?
  9. Thanks everyone.
  10. Do Hiscox cases allow basses with Fender style headstocks to slide up and down in the case?
  11. I used Lo Rider SS strings has an alternative to Rotos - smoother, longer lasting and pack the same punch.
  12. Any hard case or gig bag that can accommodate 35" scale should do the job.
  13. Can I be the first to say... "It was better back in my day!"
  14. Warwick and Stratford aren't 5-10 minutes apart though?
  15. If you make a mistake, look at the guitarist, drummer or vocalist. It was definitely their fault.
  16. A car to my rehearsal spot takes twenty minutes. Public transport would take me two hours.
  17. Bass Bros and Bass Direct are within 30 minutes of each other.
  18. Look for basses made with Poplar, Nato or Swamp Ash has these tend to be lighter than Alder, Basswood and Mahogany.
  19. Good for you. I have a Polytune and my only other pedal need is a low gain OD with EQ options. To have a DI on that would be a bonus hence why the Tech 21 VT Bass covers so much ground. I'm going to stick with that.
  20. This is the guy who purchased a Squier made in China for $600 - secondhand.
