Ever since the pandemic, the bass has took a back seat to much more important things in my life. I'm not quitting but rather taking an extended break. Maybe I don't have the motivation to gig anymore? Maybe other things bring me more happiness? Has anyone else took a break to come back at a later date?

There are loads of good young bands around - you won't find them in traditional outlets for buying music though.
