  1. Before I book, I make sure everyone can do the gig. Let's say the gig is booked two months in advance - those on shifts will have no idea what their hours are until the week of. Gig cancelled etc etc.
  2. My band, my rules. You miss a gig, you're done. Don't have time for those who can't commit.
  3. I would be blunt and say if you work shifts, you can't join the band. Band members need to be reliable too.
  4. Mods on this very forum have a history of locking threads because an argument isn't going their way. How can you respect someone in a position of 'power' if that's their MO?
  5. That's why I always buy in person.
  6. That's leave logic! We left the EU not Europe. 😂
  7. But how will you know that he only listens to bands with one EP released and play basement shows to approximately 30 people? PS Everything I do is better than you.
  8. It is very easy to not watch it.
  9. Follow the drummer out the door. These part timers ain't going nowhere, kid.
  10. You're starting to sound like your Dad.
  11. I found this one even more useful (and less click baity):
  12. Get out of Cornwall and off the internet - plenty of kids are playing gigs.
  13. Don't want to sound rude but the problem may be a little closer to home? If band members come and go all the time...
  14. Looks like the BT10 would fit.
  15. XL Chromes have royal blue silks.
  16. If you want the B15 tone, go for a REDDI.
  17. Let the man be and give him some time to decide. Speculation mere minutes after the announcement is just tasteless. I would take Rob back at full health any day over a thousand more Status basses.
  18. If he's unsure on action height, I doubt he has done a full set-up.
  19. Set it up how you like... one person's low is another person's high. You won't break it...
  20. I've been gigging for 20 years and only ever bought one bass and one amp with me to gigs. Never broken a string. If my amp does let go, I have a Radial DI on standby. I have a TC Unitune in case the Polytune goes. Simple load in, easy to set-up and go.
  21. Go to Halfords, get a cardboard box and bubble wrap, book the courier. 👍🏻
