  1. Hmm... I'm a long time Chili Peppers fan. Great to see John back in the band and he just adds that little something that Josh never did. If someone told me this was a Californication / By The Way era B side, I would probably believe them.
  2. I think I know the answer but wanted to check... My nut is cut for 45-105 gauge strings. Would changing gauge to 40-100 mean I would have to recut the nut? Thanks.
  3. Another common question that always seems to get a different answer - where do you measure the action on a bass?
  4. Any Cobalt Flats users here? What string is it similar to in tension/flex?
  5. Tracksuit top with matching tracksuit trousers.
  6. This! Please get into this now before irreversible damage is done. Strengthening your muscles works wonders but it takes a few weeks before you notice any differences.
  7. Reading around the forum, it seems to me that a lot of players cannot do a basic set-up. Adjusting the truss rod, action at the bridge and nut, intonation. I guess you could also include pickup heights. Would like to hear some thoughts on this!
  8. GHS Precision Flats 45-65-85-105 gauges. Brand new and unopened. Unwanted Christmas present. £25 inc. postage.
  9. They may sit correctly in the nut but the action at the first fret will definitely be out.
  10. I hope you configure the nut correctly. Files at the ready.
  11. Sigh...
  12. I guess being in a band together for 24 years would test anyone's relationship.
  13. Thanks guys. I took the knobs off to realign the position markers but couldn't remember if the volume knobs were supposed to be almost level with the control plate.
  14. Are the volume knobs supposed to be flush with the control plate?
  15. Very sad day for fans of hardcore. https://loudwire.com/every-time-i-die-break-up/
  16. GHS Pressurewounds sound up your street.
  17. GHS Precision Flats come with a thuddy E straight out of the packet. Let the other strings settle down and the thudydness will be equal over the board. It's definitely not a dead string.
  18. Be patient. Much bigger things to worry about.
