  1. Is the break angle big enough? Common problem on A strings.
  2. I have an Encore and a Stagg if that floats your boat?
  3. Remember when Mr Levine needed to see the booty? https://amp.knowyourmeme.com/memes/i-may-need-to-see-the-booty
  4. Roundcore and hexcore strings have very similar tension in the same gauge. The difference is that roundcore strings are more flexible hence the perceived notion that they have less tension.
  5. I think a Squier CV Mustang would be a much better instrument.
  6. Just get a new singer?
  7. If it helps, the 45-105 gauge Dunlop Black Labels felt very similar tension to Sunbeams/Hi-Beams in the same gauge. Just a tad stiffer.
  8. Superbrights are actually hexcore - they just use a smaller core which makes them more flexible. Black Label Dunlops sound different to Superbrights - they're more broken in from the start and not as bright. If you want a similar feel to 45-105 SS Superbrights, I would go for 40-100 personally. 45-105 would be more tension for sure, perhaps too much? The Black Labels are very similar tension to XLs and Slinkys in my experience. DR Pure Blues and SIT Foundations are two other strings very similar to Superbrights. Pure Blues are probably the stiffest of those three.
  9. How much have I had to drink?! GLWTS.
  10. So awesome I sold them! 😂
  11. Alter Bridge and Trivium spring to mind.
  12. Maybe try Stairway to Heaven by a band called Led Zeppelin, next. It will leave you SHOOK.
  13. Nice looking bass but get that stock bridge back on!
  14. Having an audience. Having the venue be open. Having the entire band turn up to perform. Don't ask...
  15. Hmm... GHS Precision Flats comes pretty close in my opinion.
  16. Isn't the Beta itself acting has a compressor once it overdrives?
