  1. Mastodon went downhill after Crack The Skye. Nothing good since then.
  2. People are still talking about it 20 years on. It must still resonate with fans.
  3. Anyone who is remotely successful always gets hate. Especially on BC. Bass is fugly but that's just my opinion.
  4. I have a Zoom H2N for recording rehearsals and it's fantastic.
  5. Because Hermes was getting such a bad rep so name change = new company. Evri chance you're not getting your package...
  6. Another good thing about these basses is the gold hardware. It will take no time at all to obtain that roadworn look. The body may take a little longer mind...
  7. I use SIT Foundations for roundwounds. Great strings.
  8. I'm amazed at how many people still use a video recording system.
  9. Nobody will be buying a Squier Classic Vibe / 40th Anniversary for £600 right now. Unless you're very dim.
  10. Keep doing originals. Invest in a home recording set-up? I was in exactly the same predicament. Playing covers fills me with dread and IMO you're basically saying you are done with creating new music or can't do it anymore. The thought of punters screaming Wonderwall or Mustang Sally... *shudder* There are musos who still want to play originals. Just much harder to find the older you get.
  11. I've started experimenting with the Dunlop Big Stubbys recently and I highly recommend them.
  12. I don't understand 'stressed out'? You mean nerves?
  13. Great bags, I have had one for years with no issues.
  14. A simple proposal will do the job: Stop the unprofessional comments or I walk. Speak to your other bandmates before speaking to the problem child. They may share a similar opinion.
  15. If she was no good to begin with, why was she taken aboard?
  16. My Squier is used at rehearsal every week. Love it.
  17. But you told the kids that music today is rubbish, listen to the old stuff, that's better.
