They're tolex, 15" cab is mint pretty much, 4x10 has a couple tiny marks, nothing much. Well looked after!! Cracking cab!! Hi all, Feeler really, if anyones interested. I have a very tidy condition, well looked after AH400SMX head, all working! Used pro, cracking unit. Also, 1048 and 1153 cabinets I'm looking for £250 for the 1048 cab and £150 for the 1153 cab. Offers or trades maybe..... Really, £400 for the head sounds about there. Cabs measurments are to the nearest CM..... 1153.... Front to Back-43cm Left to Right-60cm Top to Bottom-47cm 1048 Front to Back-43cm Left to Right-60cm Top to Bottom-69cm I'm looking for an Eden WT800, SWR SM900 or a higher end Aguilar.... so part ex, money you way.. or straight sale on these! Complete feeler, not desperate. I'm using my Markbass and Accugroove all the time at the moment, so would like to try something else. The Trace gear is awesome, I really rate it! Hey Gareth, Situation for me... I'm doing a circus gig at the mo, and don't gwt enough sound for me through my monitor, but anymore, and the band is too loud... Strange setup. I'm sat next to sax player, and he can't compete. Could this be used on the gig so I can have cans on and hear myself better, and the band have a comfortable level of bass coming from my mon? If that is the idea, I might have this! PM maybe.... Very interested!! Glad the polish is ok, my smith looks sweet now its had the proper treatment!! Very happy!!! Best wishes, Matt -

Sadowsky..now we're talkin'! Definitely! Need to arrange a good venue! I was thinking of asking my boss at work, if we could have the circus ring for an afternoon when theres no show!! Well..... haha. We'll have a discussion on PM anyway, see if we can get a decent venue, a hotel perhaps, or function room... Smith GAS... telling me, I can't wait to get mine! Waiting for the bank to get their arse into gear and transfer money!!!! Hurry and stop spending it!!! Message him... he just had a BSR5EG but I think he's JUST sold it! He sent me pics of that one earlier, very nice! Ask him mind, I think he deals in Smiths from all over the world. Buys and sells a lot so I hear, so probably be able to find one! Yeah I wanted to hold out for a 6, no question. 6 really works for me!

Bought it from 'yybass' on here. He has that, an MD7 Smith, a few Foderas and a Ritter etc..... at the mo!! He didn't intend on selling apparently, used it a lot.. can't wait to receive it!! Pricey, but looks phenomenal!!

I know theres a lotta Smith owners on here! Surely we can get some more pictures and appreciation together!! Tbh guys, please avoid bad comments about Smith basses.. this is a porn/appreciation thread! Designed to appreciate Kens basses...... I'd expect a certain level of abuse if I said bad things about basses you guys own and love!!! I've dealt with Ken on several occasions, and admire the guy really. Yeah some bad things have gone on, and he's upset people, but that happens all the time with different people. We should be discussing the good side of things here! Really, I think the negative comments should be deleted... Pics of mine coming soon... I'm a fan at least, the tone of any Smith bass just excites, and I really think its a fantastic thing.... I've sold two cherished basses to be able to get my Black Tiger. Lets get some more pictures and some convo going!!!

Can't wait!!! Well, no.. afraid not. I've done my research though, and know its a good'n! I mean after hearing from Ken, and doing research, they all sound very similar across the range of his basses, and I know the BTiger is a great model. Al Turner? So aslong as I know it functions properly, and its in good condition, which its STUNNING, it should be fine. Trust me, i've asked loads of questions, so i'm confident its a good one!! Well, its coming from 'yybass' on here, who also has the Ritter, some other Smiths, and a few Foderas! He was using the Smith regular from what I know, so imagine its pretty fine.. and he didn't intend on selling it, but knew I wanted one, and wouldn't mind using the Fodera instead..I mean, come on!! Oooo can't wait!! -
