  1. Spot on, sounds good. Im just going out now, back later this evening, will sort it out via PM. What should postage be on these then roughly? Thanks!! Matt
  2. Hmm offers? What do you think they're worth?? I might be interested...
  3. Which ones do you still have mate? I would have been very interested in at least one set, I have a bass yearning for some strings!! It seems everyone else wants them too.. Many thanks!! All the best.. Matt
  4. Hell, now thats an interesting thing!! Was it a production item, or have you/someone fitted that into a case? Great idea nevertheless.. love that BT tone!!!
  5. Thanks very much for the detailed responses. The shop I bought it from only had the ones with the wooden block on the back, so il just fit that to the wall. I might use longer screws then, and I have loads of longer roll plugs. Should be good! Thanks again guys, its just im always bloody careful when it comes to my bass!!! Cheers, Matt
  6. Awesome, cheers! Thanks Stu! Yeah I bought one today, seems good quality. I think its more than likely it'l be getting screwed, nice and hard, into some brick, so no worries about the wall coming in. It came with some roll plugs too. Whats wrong with the supplied screws? Where could I get some that are of higher quality than supplied? I'd of thought b&q and so on, would be similar. Glad you chimed in anyway, you know how heavy my bass is. Cheers!! Matt
  7. Whats this worth fellow BC members? I have a sh***ed out old P bass yearning for a new neck.... Not the Westy, its a Squier.. yum
  8. Gotcha, they're pretty sturdy old things then eh? Would you trust my 6er in one? Might go and pick one up today then anyway.... Cheers
  9. I am thinking about getting a Hercules GSP38WB Wall Hanger for my wall. I am just curious to know your thoughts on these. I have used a Hercules stand before, and it was fine, but would you trust their wall hanger with your bass, if fitted to the wall correctly. They seem string, and my Overwater 6 does fit. I wont be leaving it on their all the time, just whilst im having a practice session, and need to leave it for a bit. Thoughts anyway please.. Many thanks! Matt
  10. Ahhh.. if you're interested in the Thomastiks instead J... thats alright. Im assuming as this is in Recycling Unwanted, they're free?
  11. Hi there!! What do you want for postage of these.. ? If alright, I might take the Thomastiks and the LaBella slappers or Roto's? I need a set for my precision bass, not really bothered what strings go on it, whichever you think. Let me know!! Thankyou very very much, all the best. Matt
  12. Oh yeah... the soul went on my fretted Overwater, sorry mate.... Well I wish you the best of luck in finding that right bass anyway! Sorry I can't buy this one... Maybe one day.. All the best, Matt
  13. WOW!! Stunning!!! Id actually love this, seriously, but I have ended up constantly trying to find a cheaper alternative to an Overwater fretless 6. I really need to get me a FL 6!!!! No way can I afford this one at all, as much as I try!! Honestly, the best fretless I have ever played was made by Chris May and his team, these things are awesome! I bet this bass is no exception.. just look at it!!! Can I pay in installments for the next, um say, 20 years???
  14. Hey there.. looks very nice in fact.. Is there a makers name inside/country of manufacture? Does it have an ebony board, I expect if it is of high quality, with the solid front/back, it will? If you could get some high resolution pics to see it better, I might be interested in a deal. Many thanks, Matt
  15. Ah... wow, I can't express how identical this bass is, I was truly convinced this was his!!! Its a stunner though, very very nice!!! How long have you had this bass? Its very nice! No matter, it means he still has his, so I can save up and buy his!!! I am just intrigued what sort of value you put on this bass, as he mentioned something like £2500-3000 for his? Im probably wrong at that though! It is such a great vintage however! Thanks anyway mate, and good luck with the sale of the bass.. its stunning *droool* again Go on Ped, buy it, and when you're next up at Chris', il have a go !!! Best Wishes, Matt
  16. Hey! How long have you had this? My mate who I haven't seen since November has one of these, identical to this one, including wear marks and everything. He was talking about selling it, but I don't think he did.. im just curious, is this his? Brent Forbes he's called. I love his BT6, its a stunning, stunning instrument. He offered it to me, but I went down the new bass route and got my Overwater. How much are you asking for this, just out of interest? Or what value in ££ would you put on the bass? PM me a figure if you dont want anyone else to know. It is beautiful though, and they play like a dream.... *drool* !!!! Cheers, Matt
  17. Heh.. I am going blind at 17, god help me!! Cheers for that
  18. Just an idea, would you consider selling the rack case, rack ears, and tuner. I could put my Lil MarkII in the LMK's place.. Just an idea, id of thought you'd want to sell as a whole I know though. Let me know anyway. Very nice setup, would definately take it if I didn't have the LMII. Pm me, but this is just an idea. Cheers!
  19. Alright mate, have you managed to sort any pics of the H&S out yet? What are they like playability, quality, tone etc? Im intrigued as they're so cheap to buy... hmm. I really want a fretless 6!!!
