    I know one has to consider postage and tax, but aren't these $165 from the builder?

    Yeah, I spoke to them on the phone about them once and they said there wasn't enough demand to make more than the one gauge. Fine for me with my 45s, but not so hot for others! I don't quite understand Status approach, as they make flats and halves in short and medium scales, but not long. I love their short flats, and use long rounds on my Status, so in some respects I've fallen on the lucky side of the arrangement, but it seems a little odd. I'd certainly have a set of long flats abd try the halves, too, if they still existed.

    The Bass Centre do the Elites Groundwounds in 45-105, which I love. In fact, now they are back in stock, I've been meaning to get some extra sets!
