Argh, hate choosing band names. We've been offered our first gig but we need a name sharpish. They've all been terrible.

Just discussed doing a ska version of Cissy Strut (Cissy Skank?) so going to dust that off.

Yep, dobly atmos, underdubbed and stereo.

Yes tidal is a definite step up in sound quality and from April they're making their hi res content available as part of the normal pricing tier rather than a more expensive tier. I tried qobuz but the step up in quality didn't justify the added cost imo. Spotify are also the worst at payouts to artists I believe.

I've got D'Addario tapes on my Warwick star bass. The fit is very tight, the silks start halfway through the nut, but they sound and feel great.

I recently got a 32" Warwick star bass, it feels just right for my hands. It's a perfect middle ground between 34" and short scale.

Oh that's a shame. I quite fancied trying one of these. I've got a short scale ashdown Jazz, the pickups on that are excellent. -

Os Mutantes are excellent and really push the psychedelic angle. Also the sole album by Arthur Verocai is brilliant. Some really creative arrangements.

Could someone with the 500w head measure the distance between feet. Just checking it would fit on a BF one10 horizontally. Thanks!

The definitely get something that's going to bring you joy! That sounds draining and you deserve a treat.

No advice on the Fender shaped medium scale, but just a note of support. I was in a similar situation with a supportive partner and a small inheritance... I got a Warwick star bass and (once I got used to how it sits on the strap) it's been amazing. The 32" scale works better than 30, it just fits my hand perfectly.

We get that from them quite a lot and we live on a main road with parking outside. It's usually that the driver ran out of time in their round. I just avoid Evri as far as possible. Sometimes they've claimed they've delivered an item and it's later turned up at a completely different house or just lost.

You could get a looper and do something like this
