1. Final price reduction on the COG (this has been said before I know). These 3 pedals would cost £400 individually. It was £320 new. £240 UK delivered or I keep it. Peter
2. The Strymon Mobius is now sold. Price drop on the COG to £250 Peter
3. Hiya Nodd Price £90 as per the thread above I'll add it in to the text too. You can't see a lot I'm afraid as it is all packaged up.
4. I've a new, still in it's original and unopened packaging Guild BiSonic BS-1 pickup for sale. £90 Free UK delivery Peter
5. I've been through my host of bass related books, sorted out the one's I want to keep and then I've immersed myself in many hundreds of music CDs in the loft looking for the Cds that go with the books. I'm still a couple short where I've indicated but I'll have another go tomorrow. A couple of books have some minor annotation in them but it doesn't affect their purpose. If you want a book please state by number quickly as the popular one's won't hang around I guess. If you buy more than 10 I'll post free but please be aware that books are heavy and 56 parcels at the PO would not only be a nightmare but it would prove costly. Discount negotiable for bulk purchase. Any questions, don't hesitate. Peter Bass books 1. Beginning bass guitar - Peter Pickow - Narow format £1.50 2. 6. If you would like them all, or at least all the ones I’m selling (I’ll sort through toda) then can you please pm me. ?
7. Keeley Bassist gone. Another bump. The Strymon in particular. Totally as new and 135 pounds under retail!
8. Having decided that my goal of being in a regular gigging band is no longer going to happen, after over 20 years of trying, I've reconciled myself to just enjoying my bass playing at home. I could write a book on the misadventures of my 'career' as a musician I've sold my gigging cab and amp. I've a couple of pedals on sale here too (cheap plug). I've gathered a huge collection of assorted books over the years as well as leads, straps and other odds and ends. I'm amazed at just how many books I've gathered. I've now got to sort though boxes upon boxes of CDs for them and I'll sort them and put them up for sale with heavy discounts on bulk buying. I've still got 7 basses, I used to have 27!
9. Not unless you have some Fujinon lenses
10. Thank you. I'm trying to be sensible with prices and all pedals are mint. Peter
11. Wow. I'm semi retiring but I was still tempted. A lovely example that one. They are usually rather light too. GLWTS.
12. Going to a good home - SOLD
13. Good taste Geoff. The LMII is now sold. Peter
14. Freeze and Micro Thumpinator are now sold. Peter
15. Following on from my decision to retire from gigging and pursuing that road to glory and having sold or virtually sold my main amp and cab the pedals that I don't really need while noodling in my shed come next. All are completely mint, well looked after and have only seen a few band practices, no gigs (there in lies a story). First is a pedal that comes up more in the wanted ads than the sale ones. This one tiny unit has done more for my bass projecting into the mix than anything. It basically filters out the sub 30 Hz stuff and gives you headroom, eases the stress on drivers, stops amps clipping and gives added sex appeal. [sfx] Micro Thumpinator. Mint, £80 - SOLD Next is the Modulator Multi effects pedal to knock all others into a pink torpedoed hat. A Strymon Mobius, mint, boxed and with an added ring bound manual that I had made at some cost as online manuals just don't do it for me. Beautifully crafted tones, wonderful quality kit. I bought the Ola chorus and just had to have this. Strymon Mobius. Mint, boxed and with a proper manual £295 SOLD Next up is my EHX Freeze. This pedal gives a drone that you play and can then play over. A bit like bagpipes? Great for creative baselines and practice. EHX Freeze, Mint, boxed £80- SOLD Next my Keeley Bassist compressor. A small format specialist bass unit that gets good reviews. It's a compressor, it compresses and I set and ignore generally. Keeley Bassist, Mint, boxed £140 SOLD Finally my COG Multi FX unit. I bought this from Mike (Sk8) who had it custom made and I'm going to link in to his previous ad. http://basschat.co.u..._1#entry3189574 https://www.cogeffects.co.uk/custom.php So that's a COG T16 Octave, Mini 66 O/D and Tarkin Fuzz great condition £275 reduced to £210 incl. UK delivery All pedals are inclusive of UK postage. Reasonable offers considered. Peter
16. Yes and sort of yes Italian indeed although I don’t think it matters. 500watts of Class A/B goodness at 4ohms. In terms of ‘heft’ I’ve not come across a better 500 watt amp.
17. Having happily made the break and having almost certainly sold my gigging cab I have no use for my MarkBass LMII. It is in truly excellent condition and has spent most of it's life in it's vented bag as it's pretty mint. Italian made and comes with kettle lead and manual. I'll also throw in a high spec Speakon/jack lead. I've used several amps and came back to the LMII as they are so bloody good. Tomorrow I'll get my Strymon Mobius and my Cog x3 pedal up for sale too. Postage £15, inspection and collection from Kendal would be good also. Peter
18. An update. The EAD is now sold pending the buyer being happy with the cab. I'll update when it's definite. Peter
19. And Haltwhistle is such a convenient half way house!
20. Thanks Geoff, replied. No trades I'm afraid, it's a time of shedding gear and I still have 7 basses. Peter
21.
Amazing cab, perfect gentleman in Peter to deal with - I'm surprised this doesn't say 'Sold' already! GLWTS
Cheers Nik, I'm a little surprised that there hasn't been more interest in what is I feel the best cab that may can buy and almost made of unobtainium too Price negotiable of course. Peter
