  1. You can certainly switch between loops whilst it's running on the Jam man.. As Al Krow says, the B1 4 has a very easy to use drum section, I've recently got one of these, I've not used the looper on it as yet, but it's a great little pedal for the money.
  2. The Church Unguarded Moment above (great track 👍) got me thinking Australian ....
  3. Gawd, I'd forgotten about the kind of attempted zoot suit "jazz revival" thing of the period.. seems to happen every few decades or so
  4. I'm really liking these guys at the mo ( can you tell!).. They kind of adding a chunk of Soul in with the Lover's Rock...
  5. But you've saved a cool 180 to splash on something else, result 👍
  6. I'd assume it'd just be a case of swapping a couple of wires over, sounds like they're simply the wrong way round ??
  7. No doubt it appears in some more modern "classical" repertoire..
  8. Thanks for the suggestions gents, it's all good info which is new to me and therefore worth knowing.... I've got in addition an old ish Behringer mixer, but it's just a regular mixer with faders and a bit of eq, so probably not quite the kind of thing Nicko had in mind ! The 202 thing arrived, and I'll have a play with it all over the next few days.. Again, much appreciated all the advice 👍
  9. Fair point.. Just curious as a lot of this "vintage" gear seems to be priced rather optimistically shall we say !
  10. Purely out of interest, what sort of money did they want for it ?
  11. The Pop Group.. I always think of this one...
  12. You're damn right... Like it says, I'm an idiot and I know nothing..
  13. Not remotely rare then !
  14. Could be the ad is for a "rickenFaker" copy type thing, that seems to create even more fear at it's mention than the real thing..! Mental isn't it..!
  15. Its a Rickenbacker Doc... 😱
  16. Gawd...I'll certainly give you Motown !.. I was thinking more in a present day, band type idiom, difficult to imagine tambourine being other than naff..
  17. Oh go on then...I'd be interested hear an example of that !..
  18. I can't see any justification for the continued existence of tambourines at all really..
  19. I downloaded the audacity thing to the craptop btw.
  20. I should be ok assuming it rolls up, in theory today sometime....amazon are usually reliable enough, but if it all goes pear shape for some reason I'll give you a shout! Thanks so much tho it's much appreciated 👍
  21. Just for our very own Doctor in Dubwise..!
  22. Maybe try "ten pahnd" as opposed to "ten grand"..
  23. Yes well some people don't "hard sell" i think he's just a guy who makes them !.. I have a set and think they're a decent PU, but Seymour Dunc. are very much a "known quantity" and if they're about the same price as Hooky says, you can't go far wrong grabbing a set of SD, they'll certainly be an improvement on the ones supplied in your bass I'd think !
  24. Sound City were pretty common back then, I remember them well !.... didn't they do a fair bit of PA stuff too ? Not seen any of their stuff around for years so maybe not that common on the market now. H+H was another brand that was everywhere back then.
