  1. Ditto, just answered Nilo out of courtesy 😁
  2. Me, what they'd call "Jack of all trades" the thing I'm technically most "qualified" for is welding, but I've done so much stuff it'd be a long list, all generally "on the tools" type things..
  3. Interesting, Presumably your ancestors made pots at some point. Didn't think people played board games much these days, drones however are a good seller I'd think..
  4. So do you make pots then?
  5. As you say, this kind of thing you'd think would be a perfect neck dive solution, can't think why people don't do it..
  6. Nilo, you do know that Harry Potter's not real don't you?.. 😁
  7. It's a while since I had a previous parcelforce collection, they were always red signed vans and uniformed guys, I'd say this chap was a subby bloke with his own van.. still, no prob as it was collected and delivered OK so all good
  8. Prefab Sprout were banging on about Cars and Girls, I don't think basses came into it at all
  9. Still no one's told me why they're called Hootenanny buttons... 🤨
  10. That's alright we'll always manage to confuse it, it doesn't do random absurd..
  11. I suppose googly-translate doesn't speak bollocks, like we do... 😁
  12. I'm sure you'll be perfect. 'ere you could develop the idea bit.. Jacob Marley & the Jailers....
  13. Blimey Snorks, they've stuck a big chain round your ankle.. Did you pick up an ASBO or something..?
  14. Hope you're dunking a fried Mars bar in it... You've got to try the native quisine y'know
  15. Hmm, from the 60s so either .303 or more likely 7.62mm nato by then. HTH 👍
  16. Thought it had the flip up armour bullet proof plate at the back, and the machine guns that spring from the front bumper.. You can get a spare of the little blue plastic bloke that springs out of the top on ebay now too.. 👍
  17. Is that the one with the ejector seat?
  18. Never seen those before, tho have the regular ones often.. The tunnocks caramel wafers are very nice too...
  19. I was lucky too a few days ago, PF 48 arrived spot on 2 days after collection with no issues. They were pushing it a bit on collection though, it was supposed to be collected from me between 9am and 5pm, I was getting concerned when they didn't rock up by 5, in the end it was collected about 5.50 by a plain white van guy rather than the usual red royal mail van. He had the label & paperwork so wasn't too fussed, I guess they're sub contracting some of their stuff now?
  20. I do like a DIY headless, imho they often look much better than the original incarnation 😁 .. that looks very tidy indeed
  21. I guess some of this may relate to the whole 50s styling thing and use of car custom paint on Fenders and the like, you can kind of see a culture / style connection, and presumably this has carried on as a tradition. I don't personally tie cars and guitars together like that either, but I can sort of see where its coming from
  22. Tuc cheese sandwich version are good.. Always wondered if they had these on their tea breaks at meetings of the Trades Union Congress...
  23. Porkscratchings we call those here, they're OK but could break your teeth if you're an old geezer..
  24. Why were they called Hootenanny strap buttons...??
