  1. Oranges & Lemons, (traditional)
  2. A talent knob, what a great idea! " woah.. can you roll the talent button right down, this is a '76 punk cover.." 😁
  3. Fire, Arthur Brown (crazy world of..)
  4. That's because many of them are part of the "establishment".... friends in high places etc..
  5. Ar$eholes..If it were my bands gear they trashed, we'd be giving the hurdy-gurdies a good kicking round the back after closing time 😖
  6. What Al Claptone?
  7. A number of Chimps have successfully learned to use American Sign Language... Make of that what you will.
  8. Crash Boom Bang, Roxette
  9. I'm guessing it's going to be the Stingray really 😁
  10. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/385538505153?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Wzfez89KQFa&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=b67waN--Sji&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  11. The snag with one bass likely arises when you want a couple (or more) very different sounds for whatever pieces, genres or styles you're playing
  12. Spot on ! 👍 I'm fairly sure it's one of those, certainly a 3 wheel contraption anyway ..
  13. You're in a traditional metal band then?
  14. Title does come across like a fretless sim pedal for fretted bass... I'd just bung some chorus on and wiggle me fingers around a bit....
  15. Whisky in the Jar example as mentioned.. Because it's traditional... much "folk" music originates from poor and / or oppressed peoples, and references their lives, issues, injustices etc etc.. Hardly be right to "cancel" them would it...
  16. Good to know 👍 if I'm ever wandering about up that way I'll go and have a look..
  17. That makes sense as they probably were a Yamaha piano dealership, so had some other Yamaha products in stock too..
  18. I remember Chappells, they were mainly pianos as I recall, I didn't know they did basses, I went in there a couple of times for something or other, but didn't notice anything guitar or bass related, possibly they had a downstairs bit or something that I missed!
  19. Babylon is Burning, Ruts
  20. I believe the 2CV was originally designed with French farmers and other very practical workaday use in mind. A mate has a kit car type thing that's apparently based on the guts of one. I've not seen a 2CV out in the wild for a very long time.
  21. Back in the day I only ever had one bass at a time anyway, you couldn't afford another. Now I'd be happy enough playing just Stingray and P bass as they each do something the other doesn't.
  22. Interesting that it's got the 3 mach heads on the bottom in the 3x2 arrangement
  23. Well you should do.... get yourself out of yourself as they used to say.. You could have a bash with one of them old Frog 2CV things for a laugh... I expect you can pick a rusty one up over your way for 85millon francs ( = 50 quid ? ) or something 👍
