  1. That's a handle for an axe or something isn't it?
  2. Most of my teeth have been pulled or knocked out by now
  3. Don't be daft, they end up on ebay for £300 plus...
  4. Windmill in Old Amsterdam (I saw a mouse), R. Hilton
  5. Yes, again as I understand it, it would be dodgy to run a 300ma pedal on a 100ma supply ( it would overheat I think) but the other way round, ie a 300ma pedal on a 500ma power supply is absolutely fine..
  6. If I understand correctly a higher Ma wouldn't do any harm, I got a 1000ma power supply that can run multiple pedals, or just one... it was sold with, and as suitable, for a 300ma pedal
  7. It says Cort on a rubbed logo on the body, I'm sure I vaguely remember a couple of companies did headless p basses, prob worth looking on 'tinternet for headless P bass, I bet some info will emerge.. I likes a headless bass me.. A headless Stingray would be cool..
  8. Yeah, about time that McCartney geezer got a bit of flak...
  9. It was a rather "relic" bass tbh, and any new scratches would've gone entirely unnoticed, I was more relieved they hadn't snapped the neck of or something.. More luck than judgement I suspect!
  10. Maybe he's doing one in the... one in the... 🤟 Good job this isn't talk bass we'd all get banned
  11. Not heard that euphemism before 👍 Every day's a school day here eh...
  12. To the original question, imho No. That said I'm the classic "Johnny Skintbloke" so couldn't even contemplate such a purchase anyway
  13. I once had a bass sent to me literally just loose in a builders clear plastic sheet sellotaped up.. You could see right thru it and see exactly what it was, a single layer of plastic, that's it.. it had no actual protection at all, they may as well have just tied an address label round its neck and sent it like that. I had a bit of a laugh with the postie who delivered it, he couldn't believe it either. Incredibly it was undamaged, and was absolutely fine..
  14. I seem to recall that for some reason I thoroughly disliked Mamma Mia on the occasions I've been cajoled into playing it
  15. 2 strings were OK? Mark Sandman... job done 😁
  16. I've had a few Ricks and a few fakers, with the crazy price of real ones there's a good market for the fakers at 300ish quid I'd think.. Pity Ric didn't do a "Squier" type range made in the far east at reasonable prices, they'd sell loads. The thing I don't like about those particular chickenbackers is the bulbous contoured top and the very leaning back headstock, purely aesthetics I suppose
  17. I'd kind of be like that with a guitar, with it's silly little skinny strings so close together, hence my thoughts that wider might equal easier. Maybe just play on one string to start with, then add the string next to it and build slowly from that? Just an idea off the top of my head, I'm no teacher, wouldn't have the patience! 😁
  18. I'm very much a pick player and I'd think a, narrow spacing would be more difficult if you're having problems, rather than easier?
  19. Very interesting link that 👍
