S'manth got a good hefty part refund for a similar damage, I'd say you suggest to them £100 part refund and you'll "take a chance" and keep it.. They'll counter offer but you should get a substantial bit off the price..

I only see a couple of close ups back of HS with the sticker can't see the full guitar. I remember Andys very well of course, curiosly I recall they used to sell quite decent unbranded strat copies in Rokas just across the road from Andys OK see you've added more pics.. The ones I'm thinking of in Rokas were generally sunburst, but there were lots of Fender copies around

The first stingray I had circa 1980 I thought the egg shape pg was hideous, so just took it off, it was a natch colour body so the lil' screw holes didn't really show. There was an evilbay seller doing pg's for stingrays that were a good dead fit..

I never actually knew what "ghost notes" were, but Doh.. discovered I'd been doing them pretty much as long as I'd been playing bass! Tbh I've never been much of a lessons (or videos) type, with something that's very much a feel or groove thing I think you have to go your own way really..
